How does that work? Clear cookies, log in as a different user.
IP bans you now.
Co-Op over the internet is so much better than splitscreen [editline]07:37PM[/editline] yeah, doing .0000001% damage to enemies is rather funny
5 rockets flying at a spiderantling, fire and smoke everywhere, and not even half it's health gone was pretty funny
IP bans you now.
dynamic ip.
I can't find this, and i'm curious. Can you have more than one of the same character at once in co-op? For example, can you and a friend both be brick, or is it 1 person per class?
5 rockets flying at a spiderantling, fire and smoke everywhere, and not even half it's health gone was pretty funny
not even a sliver of health was gone, I was like "fuck this"
Been playing up to level 30, and the only thing I didn't like so far was the vehicle physics. Well, there aren't any, really. If you clip the edge of some rock on the ground, you'll go from full speed to a full stop instantly, and it just feels awful. And for some reason, you can kill almost anything just by running it over, even big spiderant kings etc. Luckily vehicles aren't for much more than travel, so I'm content. Everything else in the game is utterly fantastic. It really does feel as fast paced as a normal FPS to me, all while incorporating items and stats like Diablo.
Killing Floor was fun for all of three hours before I realized it was almost exactly like zombie master except with a buy menu, and without a player controlling the zombies. Actually, probably worse than ZM, because at least in that mod people work as a team occasionally. The classes were incredibly imbalanced in terms of usefulness to the team, zombie ai was fucking awful, the zombie character design was bad, and not intimidating at all. The game was just one big gigantic fucking grind. Ill look into the content pack and mod though.
Classes are balanced thanks to new guns coming out. Support Specialist isn't the best and Commando is actually a viable choice.
yes, you can
4 Bricks punching the shit out of things will be so fucking awesome.
And for some reason, you can kill almost anything just by running it over, even big spiderant kings etc.
Because you have a higher level. Don't try running over a psycho that is 5 levels higher than you...
Level 50 Siren. Crimson Lance are actually Hell on the 2nd playthrough until you get good Caustic weapons.
Is anyone playing at the moment? I could join in, except I'm level 5 or 6 I think.
gonna be stayin home tomorrow, swine flu is in my favor, im going to be lillith, anyone want to play me when it comes out on pee sea?

gonna be stayin home tomorrow, swine flu is in my favor, im going to be lillith, anyone want to play me when it comes out on pee sea?
Oi, I'm ill too. Hook me up on steam, DrFire08
So I just got my Siren to level 27, and I have to say this game is pure sex, I've been so fucking addicted since I got it on Saturday, and with the playthrough features I see my self going through quite a few times on this one character. Does the loot get better the second time around?
Should be "BODY ERROR"
Hmm, Stay home tomorrow because Im sick, Or go to school. Ill only be getting out of school at 130 so...
Hmm, Stay home tomorrow because Im sick, Or go to school. Ill only be getting out of school at 130 so...
Stay home and play! :D! Just kidding go to school, lol.
My fucking friend stole it on the computer and is playing it through steam, "in non steam game - borderlands" and he really is playing it, what a douche.
Perfect fucking setup for me, game releases at 3pm but I have to be at work at 5:30pm.
Hmm I've been thinking. If Gearbox/2K can't fix the piracy than the least they could do would be to let legit owners have free-DLC somehow.
How would they prevent Pirates from getting it too?
That's the problem. It'd be easy for Steam users and people who used their download managers, but retail would be a whole 'nother story. They'd have to give each person with a receipt or proof of purchase a code or something like that. With something like Dragon Age: Origins they did it wonderfully. People who buy the game also get a code to activate a sort of extra campaign. Like a free DLC that came out at the same time as the game. Problem is Borderlands' DLC isn't done yet...
So, what's the first thing you guys are gonna do in the game. I'm gonna find the biggest fucking gun I can and blow the shit out of something 20 levels higher then me. Cause I'm such a rebel.
As for all the fears over Multiplayer and feeling like you're being cheated, I have a story Brothers in Arms. Hyped up big time by Gearbox, both single and multiplayer. Singleplayer was fantastic, but Multiplayer (To me and judging by the lack of players everyone else) was shit. You couldn't hit someone if they were 'behind cover' even if you were right in front of them 5 feet on the other side, and had your sights on them. There was a fixed low ass % that you'd hit. It forced you to Find Fix Flank and Finish. Great in Single player, shit in Multiplayer To me Gearbox has never made a good Multiplayer game. Blue Shift and Opposing Force don't exactly count, and Counter Strike started as a mod way back in it's early days . I wouldn't expect much out of it's PvP Multiplayer. Coop is a different thing all-together though. It's Harder Singleplayer with your friends, which usually always is great, no matter what As for Piracy. You can't stop it, never will. It's good to see Gearbox just saying Fuck it. Because Anti-Piracy only cripples legit Customers anyway, Nothing like forking over 50 bucks and having the damn game not Install or start because you have Daemon installed, or because you have TWO Disc drives. Sometimes it's so much trouble you end up Pirating or Finding a crack for your legal copy anyway. And there are plenty of people too stupid to think of this, or do it, and just go Well Damn, I'm stuck with a broken game

So... Any guesses as to when it's going to unlock? Midnight for -05:00 Eastern Time? Or something weird like at 6:00am when most of the buyers are sleeping or preparing to go to work?
