So...
Any guesses as to when it's going to unlock? Midnight for -05:00 Eastern Time? Or something weird like at 6:00am when most of the buyers are sleeping or preparing to go to work?
3 PM eastern :(
Its Unlocking at Noon GMT-8
what time is that eastern? 2pm? 3?
Unlocks at about 3:00 pm over here on the east coast. Already preloaded it!

I give you my thanks, comrade.
Great I get to come home and find out how shittily it'll run on my computer
Noon GMT -8 ... sheesh....
That's indeed 3:00 pm eastern time... I swear Half-Life 2 unlocked at around 2:00 or 3:00 am when it was released.

Yeah I was worried about that at first, but I checked the specs and they are almost identical to my comp- my comp is a little bit better.
One more day!
Normally I get these type of games for PC, but I'm kind of glad that I got this one for console, the controls work very nicely, and I've never played a console game quite like this before, besides Oblivion and Fallout of course.
Hmm I've been thinking. If Gearbox/2K can't fix the piracy than the least they could do would be to let legit owners have free-DLC somehow.
...what?
That doesn't make any sense.
"Guys, we're losing money. What should we do?"
"Give away free content?"

No. The part that doesn't make sense is that the pirates would still crack the dlc. so derp.
Should be able to max this game out.
Fuck, this is too long of a wait.
What I'm surprised about is how much you people are bawwing over it. They've cracked hundreds of games before that had better protection, and sometimes got the internet to work too. Is it unfair? Well sure, but it's going to happen.
Whats the name of that one program that allowed you to reduce the number of background operations going on to increase the number of FPS you got

End It All?
End It All?
This is the one
Or you can hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and do it yourself, and go to Start --> Run, type MSconfig, and de-select programs you do NOT want to start when windows starts
Should I go onto gamefaqs or somewhere to try to find a fourth person?
So I've been thinking... is it illegal for us legit users who already paid for the PC version to play the pirated version?
I mean we already paid for it.
I know torrenting it is still illegal because of uploading, but if I got it from like Rapidshare (or something I haven't looked into where it is) would it still be illegal for me to play?
You need four people? I thought you died there for a moment.
Me and lettuce-head and his friend have 3 we just need one more... you can join in on our deal. Hit me up on steam, name is KorJax.
Oh, alright.

Grey area, stop asking. You can get in trouble but the chances are astronomical.
The game unlocks in less than 16 hours. Honestly is it that hard to wait?
Sleeping takes a good 6-12 and then most of us have some form of school/work.

If you're sleeping 12 hours a day, you're doing something wrong.
Don't disagree, sleeping 12 hours a day is physically unhealthy for you.
It unlocks at like 4am, so it'll be unlocked by morning. :D
deposit money into it using a debit card
It would take ~8 days...
2 PM Central. :buddy:
I get home at around 3PM, so it unlocks just in time for me.
I think you guys might be taking this a little too out of proportion, you guys are treating this as if it's Deus Ex 3 or something :P
From what I've seen Borderlands is a cool game with a neat art style, and a standard FPS with a diablo-like looting system. Not exactly the second coming of jesus, folks :v:
Atleast for me. Still, looking forward to playing it, just purchased the 4 pack so I saved a good deal of cash.

After having played it for a good 32 hours now, I have to say, it's one of the better games I've ever played from a stand point of fun.

I would say Technically No, it's the Copying and distributing part that's illegal, But even so, the words 'Downloading Software' in the same sentence, no matter Where, How or for What reason, won't stop some crazy idiot from taking you to court, even if it's a definite lose case for them
Not too long ago some Judge ruled that Bought Software means Owned, not Licensed during a case, so If you Own the game, and then downloaded it, I'd say you're pretty safe, from a legal standpoint. But your ISP may not be happy. and may even be harassed by legal action into shutting you down or something
