There are M16A4's in Doom's mod. I've only seen them in the Army Warehouses/Red Forest though.
I don't know what i'll do now. My original save crashes due to the controller, but the save Doom fixed crashes due to the error i posted a while back. Crash or crash? :saddowns: I'll see if something else would work. I could try the bandit freeplay.

Oh well, time to go be buddies with Freedom. Might have just been a random error so until it happens again, we'll pretend it never happened. Also the anomaly waiting to explode them is awesome, you should keep it. It makes for a very entertaining experience to find a corpse, go to loot them and their guts explode all over you.

What's the most fun faction to play in Doom's mod? Bandits are pretty cool, but military is boring and Mercs is impossible without making everyone neutral (and I don't know how to do that in 0.65, the game_relation.ltx posted a while back just crashes me). Also, we need the ability to recruit followers from our faction. It just feels weird to take on an entire hostile base alone when I'm supposed to be part of a mighty faction. I tried Monolith first, but having to pass through the Red Forest in a suit with only 40% rad protection time after time after time got on my nerves. Monolith would be more fun if there was more to do in Pripyat. Also, the Faction Leaders need more tasks--after I got some stuff for Borov, he just told me there were no more jobs. Is that it? Do I win?
The faction missions themselves are highly unfinished; they're as they were when the guy who made Freeplay Start seemingly stopped working on it around January '10
