Thorny, if it's okay to ask about your mod.... 1. You mention in the background information that the military(well, the cordon grunts) will be probably neutral in the beginning and considering the monolith haven't probably yet begun assaulting the barrier at this point in S.T.A.L.K.E.R timeline who will then be the main "human enemies" or is one able to pick sides? I understand if you're not eager to reply to this (perhaps it is better that not everything is told to help upkeep a certain sense of mystery). 2. Will the Army Warehouses level return (at this time it would probably be a major Army Stronghold in accordance to Clear Sky storyline) 3. If you are, in fact, including Rostok there will be the Wild Territory too ,right ? 4. Will there be a day/night cycle for friendly&(/) hostile stalkers similar to Call of Pripyat. As is , they're more likely to seek shelter during the night and hunt artifacts/each other during daytime ? I'm having entirely too much fun with Sgt Doom's mod, though I'll have a tough time learning not to grab every single freakin' awesome gun this mod has since ShoC doesn't have any "carry more stuff"-artifacts. The survival rate of the unique NPCs is pretty low in this mod, it seems. Started the game, went to Garbage from Rostok and the first thing that happens is that Bes gets gunned down in the hangar. I give him a medkit but as I'm looting the bandits, somebody plinks at him with a makarov and down he goes. Near the vehicle scrapyard Poker guns down Father Diodor and right after that gets eaten by a pack of hungry dogs :v: . I'm just hoping that Seriy isn't dead yet. Just off the top of my head : Since Stalkers already have primitive melee attacks in both CS and CoP, it'd be great if S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 had enemies (preferably the experienced fighters of factions and Spetznaz) perform melee attacks on you if you got too close(snatching your weapon and/or just knifing you in the gut with one quick move(if they have a one-handed weapon equipped). On the other hand, maybe the knife thing wouldn't be the best idea but a kick to knock off the player off balance or a quick gun-butt to knock the opponents gun to the side. You know, something to differentiate the experienced fighters from the rookies besides more hp and a bigger gun.

I also want to see a more monolith-ish version of Rostok, since apparently that was their stronghold before CS. You know, with a lot of beheaded heads and torn up bodies and garbage tossed all around the place, with a little abandoned in a hurry added to it.
Anyone now if there is a trader for the military in the Agroprom base for Sgt.'s merge mod? :v:

So I spend 15 minutes installing Call from Pripyat mod, and then notice it installed all the stuff in the wrong folder. Use about 3 minutes moving the 1.5 GB of stuff to where it belongs, start the gam-Expression : fatal error Function : CInifile::r_section File : D:\prog_repository\sources\trunk\xrCore\Xr_ini.cpp Line : 502 Description : <no expression> Arguments : Can't open section 'stalker_duty_regular'. I was thinking of moving the primary military base there i.e. the player and the commander trader is spawned there. Seems a bit crowded to have the loners and military's spawnpoints so close to each other.
