You should have played the game back in 2007 when it was released. At that time prices would have been least of your worries. I don't know which is more nerve wrecking, high prices on unique armour or the door not opening because of a bug while on a quest, or game crashing or game crashing and save files getting corrupt.

I'm not sure if this is the same translation that was posted in the GSC NLC6 thread but man, even with it I had no idea what the fuck was going on, I downloaded some guys save to skip the 2nd mission since it gave no actual description (It mentioned an abandoned elevator in cordon, when it meant something south) now I'm trying to get the hang of the ammo pouch and what not, so far seems pretty cool though.

Anyone know if Kingo64's shaders are compatible with NLC's mod setup

Yeah those deposit file translations are crashing mine too tried several different ways. If you want I can grab links for the translations I'm using, its pretty terrible broken english though

NOTE: The translation comes with the quicksave hack, you might be able to take it out by yourself I don't know what the files are.
