But who's gonna be the judge? I doubt that any sane judge would be in favor of C-Conscious
The insane Freedomer, obviously!
Americans wouldn't last long. They'd probably try to sue the Zone or something after the first day
More like nuke the Zone from orbit, just because we can :usa:
So I'm playing Doom's mod as a Freedomer. Took an assassination contract from Lukash. "Nearby stalker, he says." check map. Target is in bar.
BAAAAWWW
So I go to bar, take out the dutyers guarding the rear entrance, sneak into the relative safety of 100 rads, check map again.
Target is in Garbage
HUURRRRRR
sneak through the rest of Bar, take out the guards at the front entrance. Realize I don't have enough supplies to make it through the checkpoint at Garbage, so I take all the dutyer's guns, sell them, buy some grenades, climb a rooftop and begin a revolution of the proletariat against duty. local stalkers and I take out the Duty high command, and now I have an Abokan + attachments. head over to garbage, take out the checkpoint, check map again.
Target is in Agroprom. Ok, that's not so bad. Bandit neutrality makes garbage a literal 100% safe zone, so I'll just mosey on over there. I get to Seriy's warehouse, check my map again.
Target is in Dark Valley. Goddamnit. Run over to dark valley, find him in a barn with other stalkers, pop him at close range. Decide to stop by bandit base while I'm in the area. While I'm there, I notice that quite a few bandits have the 'can you repair my gear?' dialog option, but only one of them actually could. The bandit traders also had empty inventories. So now it's time to return to Lukash. I'm not too familiar with Dark Valley, so I rely on my arrow to take me out of there. I reach a level change. It loads. I'm in Red Forest, at night, with quite a few Monolith in between me and the barrier.
FFFFFFFFF

But the nuke would hit fucktons of anomalies on it's way towards the ground. Besides, Ukrainans tried that, didn't end well and now the monolith possibly have it.

I'm american and I support this statement
I'm american and I support this statement
I'm Barack Obama and I endorse this message.
So what are bolts for anyway?
Eastern Europeans are used to harsh conditions anyway, for them, Zone is just a bit more dangerous bear hunting trip. Expect that instead of bears, there are mutants, monolith and bandits.
So what are bolts for anyway?
Detecting the edges of anomalies and stuff.
So what are bolts for anyway?
For checking if you have anomalies ahead

Ninja
Bolts are a real man's way of taking on BTRs and Hinds.
Bolts are a real man's way of taking on BTRs and Hinds.
Too bad that they don't care and just shoot you into 1kg chunks of meat
Bolts are a real man's way of taking on BTRs and Hinds.
Real men are pretty stupid it seems.
Eastern Europeans are used to harsh conditions anyway, for them, Zone is just a bit more dangerous bear hunting trip. Expect that instead of bears, there are mutants, monolith and bandits.
So this is why I find even Redux easy.

What, it'd hit a whirligig and end up getting slung into Sweden?
What, it'd hit a whirligig and end up getting slung into Sweden?
It would either A) Get it's electronics fried to hell. B) Get tossed the fuck all around and hit something not totally intended. C) Space Anomalies a la "where did this come f-"
So what are bolts for anyway?
You fasten them into stuff to keep them together
You fasten them into stuff to keep them together
You bolt the doors shut and wait four days until the crew dehydrate.
Also, new avatar which I might like enough not to change back by the next day.
You bolt the doors shut and wait four days until the crew dehydrate.
That could be quite a while. Not sure how much rations an armored vehicle crew get.
That could be quite a while. Not sure how much rations an armored vehicle crew get.
It's not like they would just drive to friendly base and have someone with a blowtorch open the doors again for them.

Drive bolts into the engine.

You called?
I hate the Monolith in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Just hearing the stories of how they never back down, and how merciless they are is just creepy.
Drive bolts into the engine.
Wouldn't work anyway. Those things are built to take half a forest in them and still keep going
Wouldn't work anyway. Those things are built to take half a forest in them and still keep going
Unbolt the tires?
I hate the Monolith in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Just hearing the stories of how they never back down, and how merciless they are is just creepy.
pffffft, they back down at the sight of a lunatic clad in an exoskeleton with an rpk charging their way, and the merciless part is the same for every stalker. I mean, they walk casually over to their wounded enemy and shoot his brains out, that's just cold.
Dear lord, Limansk is a meat grinder. CS is the complete antithesis of CoP and nothing drives it home better than the Limansk section. This is where the game turns into a pure pipe-shooter and monoliths spawn behind your back in some sections so you can't slow down to deal with the fuckton of snipers that inhabit the area. Good hiding places are full of radiation pockets and don't even think of relying on your allies for anything other than distracting the enemies. Boy howdy I felt smart about buying lots of PKM ammo beforehand when I picked up the PKM from the body of a dead soldier lying amidst the ruins.
Until I realized the ammo is still sitting in the stash next to the bridge in Red Forest :gonk: .
No wonder I never finished Clear Sky before :smith:
When you said Meat Grinder I thought you meant the anomaly in Roadside.
Hey guys, I'm having a hud problem with Doom's mod. I'm running my resolution at 1366X768 and it cuts off right where it shows the firing mode. Most people wouldn't care, I tend to be one of them. But does anyone know how to fix that?
Yes, I could go down to 1280X720, but then it looks all blurry and not as crisp looking.
Mhm, next time I might write something about the Monolith soldiers. Also hello back, Stalkers. How was your weekend? :unsmith:

They're lunatics, they don't back down to anyone. Hell I've slaughtered their masses, yet they return for seconds and thirds.
How come my fellow bandits refuse my generous gifts of ecologist suits?
