It also seems to be the only gun who's suppressor is actually worth a damn. There's literally no point to silencers on the other guns, i've found; range is all you need to outwit the AI.
Well the other guns fire normal rounds, VSS, VAL, and standard Groza fire subsonic.
Well it wasn't that hard, and it was lacking in the insanity department.
I thought it was pretty insane. Renegades in exosuits, Clear Sky can't do shit so I was defending the ruined church for literally days against wave after wave of enemies. Occasionally I would find ammo for those modified grozas that the Exo'd renegades carried. After that I went up north to that old campsite. Suddenly, ZOMBIES AND A CONTROLLER FUUUUUUU-. After the swamps it calms down a bit, but the battle for the swamps took a week ingame and involved dozens of casualties on both sides. It was pretty awesome.
It's veary easy to beat the swamps on master in Spartan, just get a PKM and a NATO assault rifle and massacre everyone that attacks the occupied areas while Clear Sky captures the places.
I dunno where you were getting all that godtier equipment from. Best thing Suslov sold was an AK, and it's not like you get much money at the beginning. Also, Clear Sky is SO BAD at holding bases. I actually got stuck in the main swamps area because the fishing village got buttraped by exosuited renegades and the guide that takes you back to the CS base got killed.
Awesome indeed, but there's no guy called "DOKTOR", who gives you marsh grasses which transport you to a cave filled with shit pouring out of the walls, strange anomalies and a timing trial which can fuck you over for several hours if you're unlucky. And there are no invisible exoskeleton soldiers or burers everywhere, nor are there any new, batfuck insane maps.

But the best gear that the Renegades had were those Grozas, and they only dropped guns that had any ammo in them like 1/5 of the time :saddowns:

Which version of SPARTAN were you using? :raise:

Beta DC 0.6 and later Beta 0.8. Sometimes there is not an RPG in the squad, but hey, the PKMs are in.
Anyone have any tips to get past the that bmp at the cordon military checkpoint? I need dem documents amk is the mod btw
Anyone have any tips to get past the that bmp at the cordon military checkpoint? I need dem documents amk is the mod btw
Kill it with grenades or an RPG Or if you're a man, use your knife Also remember that killing them spawns a Hind
Anyone have any tips to get past the that bmp at the cordon military checkpoint? I need dem documents amk is the mod btw
RPG. Optimum rocket number is 3, it's also reccomended to get the Bulldog Grenade Launcher with lots of grenades for it. And a good assault rifle to defend the rookie village when the Spetsnaz mobilizes.

Am I ready to find a way into Pripyat? I have A exoskeleton that is as upgraded as possible without calibration tools (my weapons are upgraded this far as well) An IL 86 with 260 rounds A Vintar BC with 280 rounds 64 bandages 38 medkits 1 anti-rad 22 food items 5 Hercules 5 antidote 7 vodkas 1 vinca med 8 energy drinks 2 psy blocks 3 anabiotics And a svarog detecter prototype (the best one) Do I have enough supplies? Or should I have more? I also have 11434 rubles
Why do people take 64 bandages and 38 medkits with them? I usually take 6 medkits and 8-10 bandages.
Go for it mang
Why do people take 64 bandages and 38 medkits with them? I usually take 6 medkits and 8-10 bandages.
I never use them so they just pile up [editline]10th January 2011[/editline] Going to Jupiter plant to find a route to Pripyat, wish me luck fellow stalkers
Fixing DAT GHOST PAGE [editline]10th January 2011[/editline] Hey, anybody ever notice that [sp]the C-Consciousness hologram sounds EXACTLY like Lebedev?[/sp]
Yep, it's noted on the stalker wikia. Never would've made the connection.
I wonder if it's just voice-actor logistics on GSC's part or if it's actually a lore connection.
Well the other guns fire normal rounds, VSS, VAL, and standard Groza fire subsonic.
Thing is, the attachable suppressor is supposed to reduce those to subsonic velocities.
The rounds themselves are subsonic, iirc
I think the difference here is the goals of both the mods and the players; I'm not looking for an average challenge, I'm looking for grade A bullshit which I can do nothing about and have to conquer by sheer skill and a hint of luck, as average challenges have become too dull and the "spice" of People soup is just the way I like it; crazy.
Luck in people soup is the damn thing not crashing, skill required is on the same level as those lunatic South Korean players mastering some game to the point they see 1s and 0s (or blood, as their eyes explode) [editline]10th January 2011[/editline]
The rounds themselves are subsonic, iirc
The 9x39 is subsonic from the start, yes.
On the highest point of the cement factory, I planted a scanner for the scientist, know 8 bloodsuckers are besieging me along with a legion of zombies, thank go they cant climb ladders, now the sun is going down, and I can hear the barking of dogs, I should' e brought more ammo
9x39 isn't that bad of an ammo IMO. It's pretty balanced to use since one of the guns that uses it is a full auto sniper rifle.
There are also freedomers in ShoC who have the same voice as Sidorovich.

The only "safe" place to use the sleeping bag was up a tower :v: I woke up and there were dogs all over the place, glad I climbed up there.
