Can't someone take a Val magazine and insert it into VSS? I am not too familiar with those two guns so don't get mad if this is something dumb or anything.

For simply increasing the magazine capacity in-game, it's piss easy; just go to config/weapons/vss.ltx Mag cap should be right near the top, in SHoC at least. In real life, I think they can both use the magazines of the other.

I was talking about real life. It would be neat if there were differing magazines in STALKER 2. Like you get an AKS-74 and you have an RPK-74 magazine, you can choose to fill the RPK-74 magazine and then you drag it to your gun and you will load that magazine. Then when you run out of ammo you pick the next loaded magazine that is compatible with that weapon.

Oh god, I'm spending the night in the Hanger in Garbage in AMK:SE, a Stalker kept sending messages about how he'd found dead bandits, ending with "it's funny". I heard gunfire, equipped my Mosin Nagant and found his corpse. Teach him to laugh! And then I heard a panting, and I found what had killed him. I'm currently alt+tabbed out, hiding in the north west toilet block, there's a bloodsucker outside.

Ok, did anybody else notice that the announcements from the Military Check-Point at the Cordon continue even if you kill every soldier there? Just noticed that today.

Oh god. I was waiting at the west entrance to the Hanger, 10 people visible on my Minimap, 4 of them were friendly Stalkers, the other 6 were bandits. I'm watching the gate, looking for those white, beady eyes when the number begins to decline until it's only 5. I hear the bloodsucker panting and frenzied gunfire before the final bandit runs through the gate, trying to hide with the stalkers, the Bloodsucker nowhere in sight. They gunned him down, he was only a rookie :frown: Got the bastard, he'd gone back to the Toilet block, I threw a grenade in, problem solved. Motherfucker.

Since CoP lags like shit until I get more RAM I'll play some SHoC, so what's the difference of the two AMK mods?

[/QUOTE] I got one of these after I had to blast my way out of a tushkano/dog attack. Stalker comes on the 'net saying how he saw a dead dog in Cordon along the road to the Garbage. I was thinking "wtf is funny about a dead dog?" Should be commonplace in the Zone, imo.

Okay, I was just walking down the road to the Garbage, had just passed the Railway embankment. Walked about 200m and decided to pull my Saiga-12c out and change the ammo from slug to buckshot. And for no reason at all, I turn right, see a pair of bright eyes hidden in the grass, and then damn thing jumps on me and the only thing that came to mind was aim and shoot, spent a whole mag on it. A VSS with the VAL's magazine is one of the Nimble weapons in Redux :)
