Doing night hunt, perched high on the air, where the fuck is the chimera? [editline]11th January 2011[/editline] There he is, fuck, I missed with me nade
What's that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of Monolith soldiers raping you at the Barrier :smug:
At least they hold the Barrier. Don't see Duty doing anything equally important.
Not in Spartan 11:11
What, the military don't rape you in Spartan 11:11? Machine gun nest too easy for you?
But yeah if you want to get technical Freedom has flawed ideals towards the Zone, expanding it and letting more people inside is hardly the responsible and reasonable thing you can do. Whilst Duty is trying to actually destroy it thus preventing its expansion and even more death because of it.
At least they hold the Barrier. Don't see Duty doing anything equally important.
Defending the Bar? You know, the center of commerce for most of the Zone? :raise:
Defending the Bar? You know, the center of commerce for most of the Zone? :raise:
Haha, like the Bar ever gets attacked.

It is an intelligent system and will fight back when recklessly attacked. The most they can even do in fighting the zone is kill a few mutants which are quickly replaced by even more.

They want open access for all, and they want to research the Zone since it would obviously bring great scientific advancements.
Haha, like the Bar ever gets attacked.
Did you miss the part where there's tons of blood and mutants around it? [editline]11th January 2011[/editline]
I don't think Freedom wants to expand it, at least never heard of such in the game. They actually support the scientists as well.
Heheheh, I made ~75,000 rubles before being able to move to Pripyat. In Yanov and Zaton I obsessively hunted down artifacts and did every single mission I could. I also made it a habit of hunting down Mercs, slaughtering them, grabbing their weapons, vodka, and ammunition, then repairing the weapons and selling them. Fuck, you can easily make ~5000 per trip.
Duty doesn't want it completely destroyed, but it also doesn't want random criminals wandering around it either. They have no care for their research and if they could, they would instruct them to research ways to control or destroy the zone.
Oh yeah. Does anyone else think its weird that Pripyat has the LEAST amount of radiation throughout compared to other areas?

Which is straight up retarded and makes no sense at all.

Which is straight up retarded and makes no sense at all.
Well it makes sense that it is nearly empty; the path has been blocked off for the most part, remember? The only two forces (excluding Strelok) that are in Pripyat are the Military and the Monolith. Where I get confuxxled is at the fact that the reason it IS least inhabited is due to the fact that it is dangerous and difficult to reach. Other than the tunnel from the Jupiter lab to Pripyat, Pripyat contains almost no spots with deadly levels of radiation.
Source. :colbert:
Their Ecologist ties due to the military should be obvious. Their wishes for the ecologists to stufy destroying the zone,
Duty is at odds with everyone seeking to exploit the Zone and, as Duty sees it, spread its corruption. They opt for the complete destruction of the Zone through brute force, effectively attempting to "kill" the Zone. They are contrasted by other factions, such as Freedom or the Ecologists. ... They are, however, openly cooperating with the Ecologists at Yantar, transferring all recovered artifacts to them; so that the Zone can be better understood (and, as Duty wishes, defeated).
They wish to destroy the zone, are at odds in their philosophy with the Ecologists, are forced into a relationship due to military ties and then, only wish for their research to give information which they can use to destroy the zone.
It's still a major disappointment though, I expected a huge explorable city with lots of interesting shit to see.
I, too, see no use for the zone once it has already been mostly researched and understood.
They do not wish them to study what comes out of the zone or how the zone works in essence, just how to destroy it. All the knowledge of reality itself is possible but they would prefer to shut their eyes and forget it ever existed. We are nowhere near understanding anything of what is in the zone and there is far too much work to be done to consider it "good enough, let's destroy it".
You are bandit scum. :colbert: :colbert: :colbert:
No? I'm a merc, mah boii; I go where the money is. In any case, I shot him after the quest to grab his transmutation recipes for free. [editline]11th January 2011[/editline]
Not in Spartan 11:11
That's because the arsewipe gave them fucking exoskeletons.
At heart I am a loner, but if duty wants to destroy my source of income, they can go and shove right off.
I'm back, the chimera got distracted by some bandits, on well place grenade and they're all dead
clear sky/dawnfag here, erryone else is smalltime
Enjoy your dead/noncanon faction
Enjoy your dead/noncanon faction
:saddowns:
I was quite disappointed that SGM 1.7 hadn't finished the quests for Dawn :frown:
Should I get redux? Once I've finished my current playthrough. [editline]11th January 2011[/editline] Does AMK stand for anything? Just wondering
Just found an interesting glitch in CoP, I'm sure it's been discovered before though; [sp] When getting the compass artifact from Noah, once you've got it, if you leave the ark, close the door and walk away for a few seconds and come back/talk to him again, you got a second compass artifact. If you try it a third time he becomes hostile and tries to kill you [/sp]
I've spent the past hour at the small warehouse base in Garbage sleeping the days off to kill bandits as revenge for them making me accidentally shoot and kill a good Stalker. RIP NAMELESS VICTIM. I also gave him a warrior's funeral by dumping his body in a burning oil drum.
