What mod are you using?
AMK: Sidorovich
It seems like maybe there's some pretty heavy randomization at work. I've shot some dogs that went down immediately from a lung hit (or what would be the lungs irl), and others who shrugged off a 5.45x39 to the head.

Last I recall the weapons in AMK:SE were based off, as are the values for most weapons in mods nowadays, of PLR's realistic weapons i.e. quite powerful.
What mod are you using, and what difficulty are you on? There is no way they should take that many shots to the head from a large pistol calibre unless they're incredibly beefed-up civvie zombies.
No mod, easiest difficulty. I was aiming perfectly no joke either.
Hah, heading to Barkeep to look for an RPG, Blowout in the Garbage, every stalker in the are migrated to the Hanger, we're all huddled in one spot, guns raised. All 27 of us.
;27353850']No mod, easiest difficulty. I was aiming perfectly no joke either.
That'll be it, then; the weapons are a lot weaker in vanilla, and the player seems to be made mostly of cardboard.

Holy shit thank you. But I always gotta play on the lowest settings... I love having the newest graphics card, the 4gb of ram, the 700gb of memory, the 18' monitor, the surround sound, the water cooling system, but what i DONT love is my fucking processor from 2008.
I just checked what my fps is with fraps and its fucking 19. What the shit.
Apparently the gatekeeper for Duty met a woman in the zone, she was with the Spetsnaz.

Too bad most AMK dialogue is incredibly engrishy.
My Mosin Nagant scoped was utter shit, it took 3 hits to kill a dog and 4 to kill a bandit, and even then it just downed the fucker.
The head man, aim for the head!
Is this enough to play pripyat? It doesn't look like it cus im getting 19 fps but still...
AMD Phenom(tm) 9500 Quad-Core Processor

Getting this on AMK SE now, everytime I try to load my save.
Have you modified the weather in any way?
No, I don't even know how to do that.
The head man, aim for the head!
It's innacurate as piss, I had their head right in the centre of the sight, shoot, agh my arm! Take that concrete behind you!
No, I don't even know how to do that.
Hm.
I've never had that error, myself; but I build AMK up myself from the various parts (AMK main, translation and patch, then AMK Arsenal)
Might have something to do with the way the guy who put together AMK:SE did things, but I cannot be sure. Suffice to say, that error should not be happening on patched AMK.

Want me to upload my savegame for you to check it out? Or it's useless?
Should I start with SGM for Call of Pripyat, or play vanilla first?
Want me to upload my savegame for you to check it out? Or it's useless?
It probably won't be useful; I don't have AMK:SE.
Best to ask the maker.
Should I start with SGM for Call of Pripyat, or play vanilla first?
Vanilla, while SGM adds relatively little in terms of gamepley (More guns and sounds), Vanilla is still a blast.
Should I start with SGM for Call of Pripyat, or play vanilla first?
Always vanilla first, until you can't tolerate it anymore. So you can fully appreciate the changes the mods make. That being said, CoP vanilla is fairly decent compared with it's predecessors.
The next installment of Dear Diary will have to wait until tomorrow, I have to catch my breath after returning from Action Cordon.
I bought CoP (finally), but I haven't played it at all. Should I play it or finish SoC?
The next installment of Dear Diary will have to wait until tomorrow, I have to catch my breath after returning from Action Cordon.
I'm gonna do a spinoff of your idea, except it'll be Dear Journal :saddowns:

I guess I'll ignore that save. I have the autosave of just as I entered the Army Warehouses. All I have to do again is slaughter the freedom base, by myself, since Skull is dead.

NVM got it fixed by getting dx 10
Any other must-need mods for SoC? Just using Complete.
AMK is pretty fun, there's some bad translations and missing dialogue but haven't seen anything else people might not like other than having to buy a anomaly detector.
Success! SSD is installed and very quick :3:
Tinter, how much RAM do you have, and 32 or 64-bit OS?
Fyi: If you want an exoskeleton... Go to Nimble. He is on the top floor of the Skadovsk. Throw him 60K and he gets it for you. A sniper rifle is 20K. Pretty nice if you ask me.
