Just started Doom's mod, playing GLORIOUS MONOLITH FACTION, but noticed something odd--everything seems to do normal damage to my suit except Burners. I got barely grazed by one and my suit immediately dropped by several percentage points worth of protection. Is this intentional?
Actually: send me the file, then delete your entire scripts folder, then replace it with the one in the hotfix folder. Also, all the new content is lagging me on my laptop much more than AMK:SE, so I'm gonna wait until I'm back at my desktop to play this. Looking great so far though! Right after I spawned at the Monolith base, the Exo'd guards gunned down a couple of loners that had managed to make it through Pripyat alive. Silly heretics!

Awesome. I just found a moderately-damaged SIG-550 and it's miles better than the LR300 I started with. This mod has the potential to be my favorite mod ever! It has everything--Freeplay, new weapons, and (hopefully) stability! :v:
Also, Doom do you want me to give you the translations by faction, or should I just do them all and then give them to you?
Amez should put Stg Doom's mod on the front page.
I wish we had a mod that was a regular in this thread so he could start giving out titles.

Just went to the CNPP, apart from a chance encounter with a pack of tushkanos, it's completely barren :/ I fear that, without editing the all.spawn, there's little I can do to populate it. It will, unfortunately, have to wait until i've gotten everything else done. Is it because if you do, people have to start a new game?

Is it because if you do, people have to start a new game?[/QUOTE]It's mainly because I am absolutely staggered by the amount of data in there I have to sift through, the multitude of things that can go wrong, the relatively slow pace of adding things to it and testing them. It's simply outside of my expertise at this time, though I hope to learn to use it very soon. Using a no-cd patch? When does this error occur i.e. which faction are you a part of, what level are you in, what do you do that causes it? (or does it occur randomly?) Does this happen with a specific save, or all the time? (If it's with a specific save, could you send it to me please?) Have you tried a clean reinstall? I think I might have an idea what's going wrong, but keep in mind I have zero coding experience and i've not encountered this error myself.

Go down the stairs next to the statue, then the next set of stairs past the barrel fire. He's in the lit area of the basement, along with the trader.

Perhaps the Galil in the mod should be disabled since the rigs on the model phail hard.

Day ?, 100 Rads, midnight Do i have a story to tell you, fellow stalkers. I was watching a rather comical fight between Duty and Freedom. The Freedomers are in massive numbers, while there is only a squad of Dutyers. The commander of Freedom stands up and yells: "For the Zone!" and they begin their attack. A young Dutyer panicks. "Oh man, we're in deep shit, we got to run!" But there is an old-timer that replies: "No, just watch." He grabs his gun and fires in the air. The Freedomers retreat in their former positions and wait. Five minutes pass, the Freedom commander stands up again and yells: "For Freedom!" And they charge even more ferociously. The old Dutyer fires in the air again, making the Freefomers retreat. This happens two more times, and then there is a long pause. Twenty minutes have passed. Finally, the Freedomer that led his troops into attack stands up, his face covered in dirt and cuts from sharp stones and yells: "Fucking hell, are you asking for it?" The old timer quickly stands up. "Oh shit, now we have to run."
