I'm currently on my second playthrough on STALKER, and hopefully I can try out some mods after I finish that. Initially I wanted to try out LURK but that's quite big in filesize... and most people here seem to be playing AMKSE, which will be way better for me to download. Would it be quite feasible to implement the LURK weapons and animations into AMKSE? I see that you've had some experience extracting LURK weapons, Sgt Doom? :)

It's already amazing enough that Doom has partially combined these two mods

Don't worry he's a lucky charm.
Its a little arduous having to go all the way down to the bottom of the zone just to kill someone. Especially when I have a billion other missions to do and tons of equipment to carry. I'd kill for some basic fast travel.

I don't know how to fix it, but I can make the stalkers immune to fire, in order to prevent them dying in the fire.

You place them wherever you want to, and you can teleport between them
I remember a mod way back that would make NPCs in the area actually go into Sid's bunker(or any other trader's place) to trade stuff. I killed one accidentally and they ripped me to shreds inside Sid's bunker :saddowns:
I think I'll stick with AMK:SE for a while until Doom gets all the bugs ironed out and play DMM in it's full glory.
Turns out the antirad hotkey actually brings up some sort of Russian spawnmenu or teleportation menu instead. That needs to be fixed.

I'll probably get AMKSE anyway... LURK seems a bit more riskier - I heard many jackets were replaced with leather ones and artifacts made near useless? It just doesn't sound as enjoyable... although the stealth features sound like fun.

Currently fixing up the SVU file; basically it's lighter, faster-firing and easier to control than the SVD, in exchange for slightly decreased accuracy and reliability.
What does Doom's mod even do?

It is Freeplay, and Lurk combined basically, and some tweaking in between. Very good mod
Also Doom, didn't you say at some point you would put in a bunch of maps for your mod?

I got banished from the Bar. Duty is pissed at me, Loners are pissed at me, Freedom is the only one that doesn't shoot me on sight. They're allright despite their "smoke weed erry day" attitude. Decent shots, too - I saw the bridge's front guard take down two pseudogiants and a pack of dogs with his PKM. A monster, he is. Clad in exoskeleton, waving around a machine gun...Jeez. Anyways, i still intend on going deeper into the Zone. I got a VSS Vintorez from dead Monolithians i fought off at the Barrier with some Freedomers, an artefact-modded shotgun taked from a wannabe priest and a Freedomer exoskeleton. Also made good relations with Freedom, did some favours for Lukash.
With around 1400 9x39 and 200 12x70, i hope i can last this one deep raid. Oh shit, i almost forgot. the Freedomer chef told me about a grenade launcher. I bet that will come in handy. That reminds me, maybe if i turn off the scorcher, people will forgive me and i can go back to the Bar. Ah, who am i kidding. It's best if i just plow my way through and live either at the [b]Warehouses or the Cordon. But which one?[/b]
I am reinstalling Call of Pripyat, hopefully DX9 should work now. If so, I will get to work making an all new set of shaders for CoP, hopefully ones that actually help.

As for maps, well...

Not quite sure how to install your CoP shaders. Do I use the r2 folder or the r3 folder?
Please don't scream at me. Don't really know much 'bout CoP modding.
Chuck both in. r2 only runs when you have DirectX 9 on and r3 only runs when you have DirectX 10 or 11 on.

I found out the cause of my crashing, turns out I had a brawked .exe in my patched .exe's. I patched it and reuploaded.
