I think it's extremely admirable for him to make this game. From inheriting a Wacraft 3 map to turning it into one of the most competitive team games on the computer to it becoming, possibly after it releases fully, one of the most played multiplayer games of all time, and he doesn't want any real recognition. He doesn't ask for thanks, he doesn't want donations, he doesn't even want people to know who he is, he just wants people to play the game.

It's not exactly "admirable" since he's making so much cash fro mit, if he was doing it completely nonprofit out of his own pocket then yeah it would be.

Well, Dota was extremely popular back then as well, remember it had "undeground" populus counted in millions when he took over.
I guess he likes designing this game, and when Valve comes up to you and says you can do stuff you like, get paid for it and get Valve to work on it as well.
He ain't Jesus mate, he's a damn good natural game developer who found great nest.

Well, he is making money off of it now. All the time from when it was maintained in WC3 he was making nothing.
There are half a dozen instances of people saying "This guy is IceFrog!" since the first International so until IceFrog says he is IceFrog who he is will stay a mystery.

Before, I just couldn't access all the newer replays, but now, the games don't even register. I've done more than 10 games and none have even been registered at all. The wins and losses are accounted for, but no replay, hell, not even match registry on my history.
Precisely when I play Enigma and land some amazing pulse + blackhole combos...
Invoker disables with tornado, lays EMP, I blink in and lay a midnight pulse and start the black hole, catching luna, siren and her illusions and everyone else.
They all die before trying to escape.
I almost wish I had an Invoker with me at all times to do stuff like this :v:

Last night played with 4 of my friends, the enemy team picked 5 carries. It was Luna, Lifestealer, Riki, Faceless Void and Juggernaut... well dunno if Lifestealer counts but I guess so. He did nothing all game though really so.
I was Sniper, my team was Omniknight, Sand King, Pudge and Disruptor.
Needless to say the all-carry team could not carry hard enough :V
Riki was a thorn in our side all game sadly but he was easily taken down, and I had the highest gpm in the game cuz of my farming. Harvest Moon up in this bitch.
