I've seen people do alot of crazy shit like Ursa jungle, saying Sylla cant jungle, Pugna Ward and Stats only and playing Doom as a support. But Wex Exort? Why.
Why? Well I wouldn't recommend it but it can be done. I mean you actually get really good teamfight still since you have a powerful tornado (with little disable), emp, deafening blast and meteor, but your stats are more towards that of a carry, with high damage and attack speed but little durability, and especially with alacrity becoming an incredibly good steroid for dps. I usually go quas/exort until both are 4 (for 2 forge spirits), max exort and then max wex, leaving quas at 4 until level 22.

Oh please, this is the bestest pub build anyone has ever seen so far.

He insisted going mid, against Pudge, he died 7 times in 10 mins, he started with boots and a branch.
His spellcombo in fights was Finger > Manadrain till he was dead, which wasn't long since he always used the combo on the lvl 11 Pudge with Pipe pre 18-mins who then just literally: Walked up to him and farted (<- Rot) him to death.
He was also attempting to rush aghanim, his items in the entire 35 min game was: Boots of speed, branch and the pink-orb thing.
I was doing quite well with Bane that game, but Lion ruined it with his most-likely premade: Riki with Phase+MoM and Rexxar with Treads and Javelin (was propably attempting to rush basher). Those items were from the end-stats screen, mind you. They all sucked donkey-cock, apart from the one random guy who was playing WR and me.
All you missed was iG stalling for an inevitable victory.
I sat on my bed for a few minutes and watched the stream from there, last thing I saw was juggernaut killing someone, thinking they could turn the game around
Then woke up, and clicked the results
I'm not sure if I'm ready for the ricing era
"Just heard from Sheever that the Invictus Gaming organisation promised to double their prize money if they won the championship. That's two million USD for iG right now.
Holy shit."
Nevermind its false.

Well at least now I can talk about pub games without people freaking out for not watching TI
Anyways, we should expect the meepo update this or next week?

I'm going with this week, they have nothing that holds them off.
Was there any details released as to how matchmaking works? I keep getting paired up with brand new players with meme avatars.

It works. That's all you need to know.

Buddy you have like 80 hours on the game. You're just as good as they are.
I have 800-900+ hours, people actually know how wards work here. (usually)

I never got how wards worked until I started playing online.
Now whenever there are invisible characters I make it my job to ruin their life as much as possible. There was a bounty hunter on a 6 kill streak so I just plopped down wards everywhere and he got so mad he left :v:

I was in a game where we finally made a comeback against a fed riki
when we were about to push I bought a ton of sentries and then a stack of dust
as we pushed down the lane I would always put down a sentry every 400 or so units
"wtf why rhasta have so many ward"

Saying he knows how wards work.
Only mentioning sentries.
Sounds like you still don't know wards to me.

Almost 800 hours and a lot of games I get matched with a person teaching a newbie how to play the game so they usually feed a lot.

Was it the same game where the TA was so fed she solo'd nearly our entire base?
Good times.

The reveal range on Sentries is actually surprisingly long: 950
Just to give out a measurement: Fissure wall is 1000 units long, only 50 units longer than sentry reveal range.

Rude. I only mentioned sentry wards there because they relate to the story I was telling, of course I understand how regular wards work.

I wonder, do any of you people play 'Very High' skilled games, like most of the time when queueing up?
I wonder, do any of you people play 'Very High' skilled games, like most of the time when queueing up?
I do believe before I2 (didn't play much during it) I was crossing from High to Very High on some matches.
It doesn't say much really, I had great games with a lot of teamwork and mutual agreements, as well as "lol gg noobs" stomps with a lot of hatred and racism.
Skill levels seem to be also reather evenly spread. Even if you hit Very High, it's not like you will be matched up against pro players pubbing right away, I've seen some members of JoinDota in-game, but I think it just means we are in that big 33% pool (there are Normal, High and Very High now, right ?).
I wonder, do any of you people play 'Very High' skilled games, like most of the time when queueing up?
I don't think it works properly now, the last Very High game I had was in July, and when I look at High or Normal I get no results. :v:
None of the games I've played since Thursday are showing up in my game history.
Oh, then I guess its some kind of bug or so... Hopefully, they'll fix it and it actually gets back to normal.

And in my games, people sometimes whine about them and use them.
But yeah we usually lay wards if we get the stealthies.
Is it wrong if people always ward the runes like the bots do?
And on the matter of the harder games...
It does seem like every now and then I get people who are completely new to the game or who just ragequit at the slightest deaths. A bit weird, sure I'm not the best player but I expected to get matched with better people who don't try to solo entire teams or who ragequit after a few deaths.
MM is made on what statistics?

Explain a bit, I rarely see bots.
You mean they just keep wards there 24/7 ? Rune spots are also chokepoints, so I guess it's good the ward those.
