Is it just me or is the quality of play much higher in single draft than it is in all pick?
Wow had 2 great viper games yesterday. On the second, started off a bit bad against a windrunner that killed me twice, and was a bit slow on getting some funds, but I had a pretty nice team and we won easily in the end.
According to my buddy who was spectating the match, they were grade A morons :v: only razor actually did anything but the rest were just awful and I clearly had the better team apparently.
First match was a total wipeout for me. Got fed enough on mid, started to gank, clearing both enemies at top lane, and I guess I carried the game myself. Even got to an ultra kill or something. I think no one in my team even got to 5 kills, and I had 20 something. They helped though.
Didn't even play anything else in fear of losing a 2 win streak.

Christ is there a Steam group for FP Dota players? I've lost the last 15 games due to reasons outside of the other team besting us. Leavers, people who don't speak English, and so much noob feed it's making me sick. Seriously my last game everyone besides me's average score was 3-15
I don't mind losing, and I don't mind new players. All I want is a simple 5v5 game where something completely ridiculous isn't happening to one of my teammates.

AFK Farm the first 20~25 minutes, try to build Agi items (Manta or Etheral Blade are the most common choices, Linkens if you're being the enemy's first target and they have some annoying initiation spells), convert most if not all your Strenght into Agility to be a fucking beast and only convert it back to survive ganks/chases.
If you go Etheral Blade, try to find weak heroes alone and Etheral into Adaptive Strike them, add Waveform if it's not enough, and you should get a free kill.
Why is it that every time I steal Pudge's hook while playing Rubick, I can land it with no issues, yet I can't while playing as Pudge?

Less delay between clicking and the actual cast.
Every spell rubick steals has a cast time of 0.1 seconds regardless of the original. This is faster than the cast time for pudge.

He actually has different animation cast times, that actually makes sense since there is less delay and requires less estimation.

when playing against a pudge people will naturally play more cautiously, place more wards, hide behind creeps etc
when you're against rubick you don't really expect to get hooked unless the pudge calls it out every single time you steal it

If you think you're going to lose you're going to do more poor, just relax and have a nice game regardless of who wins or loses.

Looking back at all of my games, I end matches with upgraded boots (treads or mana) and drums and a random support item depending on the situation. This guy is the least item-dependent hero I know of.
Start out with a bracer and some branches, you don't really need regen items since you hit like a truck with 80 damage at level 1 and you got awesome regen from armor and spamming leech seed makes you unstoppable against almost anyone early game.
Max leech if you intend to be more offensive, living armor if you wanna support more/your team are pussies and could use the boost and at least one point in guise before level 6 for escapes/saving people/set ups.

I just played a game against medium bots as Enigma. I of course was jungling. A little into the game I notice a rogue Tidehunter in my jungle and no-one called MIA, which I thought was strange, and I killed him anyway. Then I look at my minimap for the first time in the entire game and I realize all our T1 towers are gone and top lane has a GG push going for it. By the bots. I proceed to look at the k/d ratio of everyone... And my entire team has an average of like 1-4. Fuck.
So I carried that game from near-loss against [b]medium bots[/b] for the next 30 minutes (my teammates continued to be fucking terrible) as Enigma until, finally, Faceless void comes on the mic and says "Hey my little brother was playing, I'm back now."
Then with two competent players we finally stomped on the AI within the next push. That game should have ended a half an hour ago.

Choosing a carry ALWAYS ends up with 4carry teams, I usually pick a support that can become carry if my team just sucks.
KOTL's Q does insane damage early on, damn.

True, I like playing KOTL with an allied faceless void/disruptor/nature's prophet/naga siren
They all have an ability to hold someone in place, then you just charge up your Q. I'm aware naga siren's ultimate makes it so they can't be hurt, which is why I tell her when to release them. KOTL can easily be countered by wards in the jungle to be honest. If KOTL doesn't do it in the jungle, then early on it may push the lane up way too far
Laning against keeper of the light as a melee carry is making me want to HGSDJKHFSDKFJASKLD SILENT GHOST HORSE HORDE OUT OF NOWHERE
im trying to play razor in pub since ages
i always pick a support then because my team decides to pick 4 carries and all "I MID!"
