Desolator works on buildings, which makes backdooring far faster. I don't see why you would build skadi on profit. It's a 25 damage + 25 attack speed item for him, for 6k. Desolator is a much higher dps boost.

me and colour had amazing games last night
One, our main carry bought to rapiers since we were so close to winning. Our creeps were on the ancient.
We backed out...and he went in. Natures prophet got the kill, kunkka got 2 divine rapiers
They nearly turned the game around many times, it was like being on a seesaw. We won, but goddamnit, it went from 40 minute game to a 60 minute game. Was rather fun.
In another game, our ancient was exposed for 20 minutes straight. We managed to defend that long, and ALMOST pushed up but failed. Was insanely fun.

I absolutely love the games where both teams are on the edges of losing, it's so exciting and when you win, you feel this satisfaction from it, it's great.

Had a game where I Random'd Spectre and someone else on my Random'd Outworld Destroyer. 28 kills to our 9 at 20 min but then we extend the game out to 70 minutes. We won. Next game I random Spectre again with the same shit except this game went on for 110 minutes. Why don't people en when they're ahead?
Damn, Visage is hard to play.
Not because there is micro involved, it's because his micro is unforgiving. Familiars are flying tissues, if enemy has any ranged carry mid game gets intense, as both of them are 2-3 shotted due to 0 armor. Sure, they can drop Stoneform, but they need to get in range, same for their attack.
And their vision is shit.
And they attract neutrals.
Last one though could be made interesting if Valve implemented Neutral night-time sleep, i.e. they can be only aggroed at night if they are attacked, not just by passing by. It worked so in Dota 1 I believe (at least that's what I remember from playing WC3) and could make Visage sort of like Night Stalker, easier to play at night.
I'm addicted on divine rapier. I buy one on almost every game that goes good enough, haven't lost a game with divine rapier, but I'm afraid that will backfire someday
it's a good idea to get an aegis as insurance if you have a rapier
