Lately its been having some issues with Twitch and reinstalling does nothing. The other Dota 2 stream extension kinda sucks so I'd rather fix this one

A tip to not be XP starved - try to say in lane as long as you can. I found that early in my Dota 2 career I was a bit behind in XP most of the time but not these days. I've found that I [U]very rarely[/U] go back to base.

Yes. I was in a game once where our OD had BoTs, Vyse, Shiva's, Force Staff, and 2 Scepters.
I'm a bit late, but, goddamn Dirge is absolutely awesome.
Spamming zombies and stealing strength and killing people with a clap. The way he moans scares me almost as much as Siren's voice though. In a good way.

Lothar's on sniper is passable, but I REALLY wish it wasn't considered cor ebecuase there are better ways to play him.
Phase + MoM, while dangerous, can make you hell of a glass cannon early game. If you are playign against a team with minimal stuns, this will allow you to dominate. On the other hand, the safer, more practical build is Treads and Yasha -> Manta. (Maybe with a Aquila if you want to spam Assassinate as harass)
Then, build whatever damage items you feel like. A Daedalus is a great choice, a sit is on every carry that doesn't have a built in crit or rely on non-physical damage. Desolator has great synergy with Manta if you decide to go that road. Butterfly and Mjolnir are also universally good items on Sniper.
Various endgame builds you can do for sniper-
Treads, Aquilla, Manta, Mjolnir/Butterfly/Desolator/Daedalus, BKB/MKB if needed, TP Scrolls
Phase, MoM, Mjolnir+Butterfly/Desolator+Daedalus, BKB/MKB if needed, TP scrolls
You get the idea. Just don't build Mjolnir AND Daedalus, because Arc Lightning can't crit.
I always go desolator and daedalus after treads and/or aquila on sniper, fuck shadowblade

in dota 1 you built 6 scepters on him
he didnt have an upgrade its just what you did

I remember Sniper from the original, where if you engaged him in the woods and he had deso you could find him because of the red shots. Now most Snipers are pushing machines because getting shrapnel isn't frowned upon anymore.
I grab two Wraith Bands
Then I build one Aquila, not for Assassinate, but for his most underrated skills, Shrapnel.
Then Treads, Yasha, Demon Edge, Helm of the Dominator, grab a Wolf or Centaur for the increased attack speed, don't forget the stun!
Finish up Manta then Monkey King Bar. By now, you should destroy. If not, grab Daedalus.
If you're doing exceptionally well it might be worth grabbing Midas. Attack Speed and gold, what more can you ask for on Sniper?
If the enemy have lots of nukes, grab a BKB after Yasha.
As for skills, Shrapnel and Take Aim alternatively with Assassinate when you can.

My favorite use of HotD is grabbing a cent for ancients stacking, very easy to shift-click automate it on radiant side, never quite got used to stacking on dire. For dire I get a troll warlord and do it manually.
Sniper's not great at farming stacked ancients.

A bit late, but I was at work all day.
I find I can reliably get first blood like 90% of the time I play Sniper. As soon as I get my ult, I can kill them. I've usually counter-harassed the other guy down with my range to the point where they've either burned all their healing items or are about to use them and are juuuuuust low enough to die.
Oddly enough, playing mostly support the entire time I've played Dota 2 has made positioning a breeze.

I read somewhere that the recipe for scepter used to have a different recipe. I don't remember what the components were, but it gave extra intelligence and increased the size of his mana pool.
People were building four scepters just because it saved item slots. He didn't even have an aghs upgrade back then.

you used to build scepter with a point booster and a mystic staff,so you could just build 5 scepters and boots and you pretty much set
