With all her illusions, a snare that lasts like 5 seconds, armor reducing AoE that all the illusions perform AND a pause button.

Drow Ranger is so op! If she gets items, so does damage! And she's ranged! And has a 50% slow for basically no mana cost! And has a damage buff aura! And free agility!

That's bad way to respond to people who've been arguing that methods to counter given hero and not effective in the long run.
There've been examples of countering Lycan and him bouncing back without slightest issues.
Let's analyse why. How does Lycan avoid getting shut down ? How to shut him down without too much of commitment ? How does he get kills when he is not shut down/shut down.
Data, it speaks more than words like "idiots, l2p", leave those to players who give up after first blood, ragequit when they see no wards or refuse to show any sign of compassion when someone doesn't play 100% perfect.

He's ball bustingly overpowered. He hits hard, has way too high of strength gain, and is the best tower pusher, chaser, and semi-carry in the game. He is capable of jungling OR soloing the hard lane form level one with no problem. He is one of the three heroes who can reliably solo rosh at level 7. If you try and shut him down in the early game, it fails. He just goes back to farming the second you let up on him, and if you don't let up on him the REST of his team will farm because you are trying to focus your attention on him.
The ONLY way to stop a lycan is to build a team that can counter him, with BKB-immune disables like Beastmaster and Bane.
Name one character with anywhere NEAR this power and versatility- Hint, there isn't one because Lycan is broken piece of shit.
Or y'know, gank him in his jungle.

I've never had a problem with lycan in pub games unless he gets fed, which a fed hero can easily snowball out of control.
The one thing that feels stupid about Lycan is in his wolf form, you gain MORE armor. He even says himself "Wolves need no armor." so shouldn't you get a minus armor bonus? Or no armor bonus at all?

I used to disagree with the people saying Lycan is OP....
I just had a game where I randomed him and I was at 400 ping the whole time until about 40 mins in where I couldn't take it anymore, mind you I would get kills every so often, as soon as I fixed my router we kept wiping them and we ended it within 5 minutes of that.

I think the biggest problem about it is his immunity to slows while in it. NOTHING works. Not hex, not purge, no skills, nothing.

This is implying bloodseeker is high enough level so his ult actually does a reasonable amount of damage. (level 2 ult) Bloodseekers ult does little damage at level one. You could get ulted at the enemies tower and run back to yours and have roughly 25% health.
Besides at that point, lycan likely has BKB.

I could link you to several games of lycan getting his shit kicked in, and it would prove absolutely nothing. Hell sing sing was a standin for some team earlier today and while there was a massive disparity in skill between the teams, the lycan did fuck all the entire game because his team lost map control from the get go. Using your line of reasoning I could literally link to that, and say that he is underpowered. See how stupid that is?
You don't get to pick and choose your data points. You must take everything at the competitive level into account, and the numbers there say that he isn't retardedly broken by any stretch. Fucking obnoxious to play against? Certainly, if his ban rate is any indication. Instant win? Definitely not. On the leading edge of the power curve? Probably.
Literally all you are doing is focusing on a few examples, and ignoring everything else. That isn't sound reasoning. For what it's worth, I see Lycan as being on the upper end of the power curve, but people keep insisting that he is an automatic win in practically all situations, and the data simply does not back that up.
Whatever. I'm done now. If people want to discuss complete tournament data from several weeks after his introduction (to allow people getting used to having him in the pool), I'm game. I wasn't using that single game to prove that lycan is op, I'm using that game as a perfect example of what happens in almost every game lycan is in.
also nobody is arguing that he's an automatic win, you're missing the point
the point is that lycan is, in the current meta, one of the best heroes in the game by absolute miles, and we consider him to be too good compared to other heroes
