not meepo
Scared of this guy.
It's bad enough for my sanity when I random Chen or Invoker.
But aside from Meepo, I'd love to see Medusa and Troll Warlord.
The hell's with his ultimate. 5 (10 self) sec duration, 20 sec cooldown 180 bonus AS.
75 mana.
Tiny on team.
Oh god.
Any AS-benefitting hero on team.
Oh god.
Fixed it for you. I'll never stop loving (or playing) WC3.
I'm going offtopic with this.
What heroes do you think they'll add in the update after the tournament?
Meepo, Magnataur, Slark and Medusa.
All four.
Hnnngh I hope they release Slark soon.
He looks fun.
jesus i was just in a game where the whole game my team was speaking english
then 1 person says something in brazilian
suddenly my team is speaking brazilian only
i feel like i just got trolled hard or something
So, I've been trying out void, and from what I've played with him...
He needs every single bit of money he can get
Requires MoM to be truly effective at start and later on with its lifesteal and attack speed
Critical bonuses from items are extremely welcome and help A TON with MoM and chrono
I don't know if I should REALLY build a Bfury though... It seems like it takes too much time compared to MoM in terms of helping farming, although, the cleave works with chrono right? At least that is useful.
Should I really build Bfury?
I've also been building multiple things at the same time every now and then.
First match everyone on dire was a truck with almost 3000 hp which made everything hard, and even worse when there was a tiny and a razor involved. As soon as I picked the first critical sword, things got too easy, and bfury almost scored me a double kill in 1 hit, if kunkka didn't steal the kill. (got ks'ed soo many times). We were getting hit HARD, but ultimately, we got strong enough to push them in force.
Second match was a lot easier. Huskar as usual killed himself gradually, being food for spirit breaker, and the combination of MoM + cristalis or whatever + chrono is just ridiculously good.
Any tips for builds? Bfury especially, I don't know if I should make it a habbit.

everything is situational. if you need to have that early aggression that Mask of Madness gives you, then go ahead, but if you don't and it looks to be a more farm heavy game, you might benefit more from getting the Battlefury faster.
NO.
No.
Where do you expect to get attack speed and leech then?
Playing Bounty Hunter, doing well, bought Divine Rapier, need only about 1000 gold for a second one
We're camping the enemy base, could have ended it but the enemies fought back bravely
Our Tiny intentionally throws me into fountain
Goddamn these trolls, getting a bit annoying to have 3 troll teams in a row. Not even kidding, in all 3 my teammates have intentionally tried to ruin the game somehow, either by feeding the courier and dropping items it is ferrying, to just general dickiness
Also, apparently I have 1 win and 4 losses as Brewmaster and my performance sucks, but I have played only 1 game as him. I think it is bugged.

Ah I see. Still, I see MoM as a very good item for void to use inside chronosphere or in team fights where the enemy isn't focusing on you.
So Bfury if I need to go an extra step in farming. Gotcha.
Was playing Lycan, farming decently, had treads, Vlads, Medallion and nearly had BKB. Suddenly Windows Updater shuts down the PC and I had to restart, and by the time I got back into the game I got an abandon. My team's TA and I were at each other's throats since the beginning because I got mad that she was blaming the whole team for her mistakes, so she had destroyed all of my items when I was DCed. Holy crap this game's community sucks.

Welcome to Dota since 2005.
Where do you expect to get attack speed and leech then?
Hyperstone, then build that into Mjollnir; the chain lightning from MJ really synergizes with bfury. Also, do you really need lifesteal that much?
Where do you expect to get attack speed and leech then?
Facepunch has a hatred against items like Mask of Madness and Dagon, just ignore it. Mask of Madness on Faceless Void is fine if you want that early aggression like I said. Lifesteal helps Faceless Void a lot if he gets in a 1v1 with the enemy carry and gets lucky bashes or uses his ultimate.

We've established that dagon is fine on pugna and nyx. But what you don't know, is that almost every person in the pro scene that plays void thinks MoM is bad on him.
I didn't see dass mention playing in the competitive scene, my bad.
I didn't see dass mention playing in the competitive scene, my bad.
He said that he requires MoM to be effective, and I'm arguing his point by saying what the downsides of it are and that pro players don't do it. I never said he couldn't.
I am so fucking sick of playing against BH.

Slardar
Where do you expect to get attack speed and leech then?
From agility items and you don't need lifesteal.
From agility items and you don't need lifesteal.
wow we actually agree on something
Slardar
it always makes me laugh how people think it just the magic solution to invis
do you realize he has to reveal himself before you can ult him?
He said that he requires MoM to be effective, and I'm arguing his point by saying what the downsides of it are and that pro players don't do it. I never said he couldn't.
You never mentioned the downsides of Mask of Madness. I'm presuming he feels the need for it because of Void's weakness early game (because he's a carry), so I suggested he takes it if he needs to be effective early game, but if he doesn't need it, he should get his Battlefury faster instead.
Professional players opinions are great and all, but that doesn't mean that the items aren't viable in a public matchmaking game.
it always makes me laugh how people think it just the magic solution to invis
do you realize he has to reveal himself before you can ult him?
...It's like that for any invis hero. Slar is good because of his ult and the fact that he is very tanky.

MoM is a bit cheaper, and lifesteal helps if I need jungling or a quick hp regen from creeps, and still gives more attack speed.
Problem is, gives a big damage vulnerability (which would be expected to not be something to care about since you'd be using it inside chrono but...) but only lasts a while and doesn't gives anything else.
I'll try Mjollnir instead and check it out I guess.

notice how I said

I used the word invis there, not Bounty Hunter
I didn't see dass mention playing in the competitive scene, my bad.
And I didn't mention competitive at all...

I didn't say he was the 'magic solution'. I said he is a viable option if you are tired of BH.
