I've befriended some Filipinos, one of whom has been high on all of the 5 occasions that I've played with them. Only once it has particularly messed up his play.
You really meet some strange people in Dota.

If anyones curious what they were saying, it appears to me that they had lag problems.
Tidehunter: Should be a problem with SEA service, I'm going to see about the Australia servers.
Morphling: It can't be SEA servers, i am in SEA region
Tidehunter: I live in Australia, yet it is still 250 ping
Disclaimer, second part of the first tidehunter line doesn't make much grammatical sense
EDIT: I understand you're frustrated because of the language barrier, but it doesn't mean you can immediately start using racist sterotypes of CHING CHANG CHONG etc, being Chinese myself, i find this to be highly offensive.

What about what Covalent is saying?
What about what Covalent is saying?
If there is sarcasm, i am failing to detect it. .___.
Otherwise, Covalent is kindly voicing some common Western sterotypes of Mandarin.
I'd be Lion if I told you I'm mid.
To be fair you shouldn't be queueing in a region where you do not know the native language.
It hurts your fellow teammates if you cannot communicate with them.
Most russians I see go Axe or Drow and do horrible.
My freind commonly pastes the result of google translating "I really like spunky Juice" into Russian during a game with Russians.

obligatory RUSSIAN SERVER IS IN STOCKHOLM THERE'S NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE
Played my first game!
But it was against a bunch of guys with 700+ wins, and I had to go Nyx support. We were pushing well in the beginning but then their Juggernaut was never in any fights or on the map hardly at all, turns out he was doing farming and nothing else but. He carried them to victory, even when our Clinkz was really farmed.

That was my thought, I was scared as shit. I just stayed silent all game just in case someone checked my games. But I didn't do awful, went 5-4-16 I think.

I blame the super long queue time I had, just threw me in with whoever.

The only thing you should be offended by is how unoriginal it is
What.

One of the guys with 700 wins might have been queued with a new buddy, it tends to downlevel the games massively in those cases.
So what is this "give her the ward" thing?
What.

Sometimes low level players are thrown into high level games so the system can assess how experienced the player is at DOTA.
Usually not up to the 700 win level though.
So what is this "give her the ward" thing?
It's a joke about this guy on pornhub who posts funny comments, one of them was "Give her the dick".

wins doesn't equate to skill, their mmr could be fucking terrible if they lose a lot

This happens to me often. I have ~320 wins but I often get matched with people that have ~10-20 games. That one time my team had 3 people with less than 100 wins and the enemy had 4 people with over 500.
You could even say that matchmaking doesn't exist in this game, considering how shit it is.

I think I did well, considering how the game was going. My teammates, not so well. We had a really overeager Sand King.

Maybe they're trying to emulate DotA 1 where there was no MMR, all pugs all day every day.
