That's what Pokemon would be like if I was in charge of development.
Is that thing at the top left supposed to be Paras? :ohdear: [editline]03:30PM[/editline] Just beat the Battle Arcade brain :buddy:
The Voltorb has a bomb in its head oh my god jc
Wonder what parasect would look like then.

Lol at picture above, i love pokemon
Paras and Parasect are actually really horrifying. They take over your house, infest your lungs with their spores, and are really hard to dispose of. In fact most Pokémon are pretty grimdark.

And when it evolves into Parasect the mushroom takes over the body and mangles it.
Sounds like that Parasite that gets inside slugs and stays in their Eyestalks. It makes them go all rainbow coloured to attract prey or something wacky like that. Parasites in general are fucking awful.
Pretty obviously sprites.
I like how Zoroark has a hair accessory.

Apparently the mushroom stops the pokemon itself from changing a lot when it evolves - so take it away and you can give it some evolutions where it changes a lot more.

Hey, my lvl 42 Pikachu's stats are pretty low, anyone know why? Most of its stats are around 50-70, with speed being the only exception at 90. Most of my other Pokemon have atleast 70 on most stats at lvl 40. The Pikachu was raised from an egg on my Diamond to level 19, then traded to my SoulSilver and trained to level 42

It's other stats were around 40-50, except for special attack, which was around 60-70. Maybe more, I can't really remember as I started a new game a while ago. I got a shiny Cyndaquil in my Japanese HeartGold a few hours ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjPz1_UaHmY

Seriously, had the same problem with my level 50 pikachu. Got one hit ko'd by almost anything, including golbats 10 levels below it. Fuck Pikachu.
Because Pikachu's base stats suck.
We need OU Form Pikachu in Gen 5.
Because Pikachu's base stats suck.
Just another way that Yellow dicked you over at every possible opportunity. I mean seriously. The first gym leader was Brock, meaning you had to catch a Pidgey or Caterpie and struggle by as he annihilated you with his dick-hard rock Pokemon. Then, by the time you finally beat him, you've already rendered Pikachu completely useless because the other Pokemon in your party are miles ahead of it level-wise.

Surely he comes in useful then. Long as you train him up, of course.
Once you get Abra near Misty's gym and train it a bit, game turns into easymode.

When I first played through Yellow (First time playing a Pokemon game too) I beat Brock with a pidgey because pikachu couldn't do anything. I got to the elite four with a pidgeot. I couldn't beat them and I erased my save. :frown:
I let my friend who didn't have a gameboy train my Pikachu below Pewter city. He trained it to level 20 and even though I had to use Butterfree+confusion to beat Brock my Pikachu was still the best guy on the team, it was such a cool save.
Pikachu has really shitty stats. I can OHKO Red's Pikachu, which is level 88, with my level 53 Snorlax. Raichu is superior.
