I'm thinking about cranking the old silver cartridge up. It was bought at release and the internal battery is dead, I can't switch it off without losing the save (though I can leave it running 24/7 via charger) What team should I make.

Can anyone spot any obvious flaws in my team? It's done me pretty good so far (and no I don't care about NU UU OU etc.) Luxray Honchkrow Blissey Dewgong Mr. Mime Macargo

If you don't care about tiers then there are no obvious flaws, you have a good coverage and i'm guessing that you enjoy playing with that team. Best you can do is mix and match different pokemon to see what you enjoy the most

Yeah, pretty much that really. I wouldn't mind doing some wi-fi battles with anyone who isn't too serious.

I like it. Other than Blissey (Tank), none of them are the absolute best in the field which is refreshing. You also have good type coverages, and unique variations of that type. Not many people use Honchkrow for a Dark Type or Luxray for their Electric Pokemon. Stick with em imo.

Plus Magcargo has two 4x weaknesses. You have no steel types, which makes you vulnerable to Dragons. Your highest base Speed is 90, which leaves you pretty open.

I always go as far with my starter pokemon as possible without using any others, so far i´ve gotten to the 3rd gym by using only my cyndaquil in battles (had to catch some for the HM´s). anyone else?

My friend did this in Ruby using Torchic, he made it to the E4.

I did all of Red (and FireRed) with only a Charizard and 2 HM slaves.

I like Luxray, he's cool. That said, almost all Electric moves are Special, so he's not a great Electric Pokemon. Good Attack though.

Oh my god guys. Apparently my Pokemon Crystal save on the cartidge still exists. I was able to get see all the pokemon I once had. Now I'm gonna remake them in Pokemon Liquid Crystal in their pre-evolved forms (if they have one). Dragonite - Dragon Breath,Icy Wind,Slam,Waterfall Raichu - Thunderpunch,Headbutt,Swift,Charm Aerodactyl - Fly,Bite,Hyper Beam,Ancientpower Houndoom - Crunch,Flamethrower,Faint Attack,Strength Gengar - Hypnosis,Dream Eater,Psychic,Destiny Bond Omastar - Bite,Surf,Spike Cannon,Ancientpower And my Shiny Magikarp is still there too. When I remake them I doubt I'll give them the EXACT skills they had before.

In ruby I used only a blaziken and three hm slaves. The elite four went down somewhat easily.

Already have a Nuzlocke run going on my Sapphire. At mt chimney wondering if I should train some more before fighting Archie. I was extremely lucky to have Ralts be the first Pokémon I ran into on the route where they appear. That'll just make it so much harder when it dies :( I only have three left on my team.

Three left? If anything, in Nuzlocke you always have a full team. Since you have to catch the first pokemon on every road, you'd have a shitload.

Two or three died but I think it's mainly down to not looking for Pokéballs enough. Found quite the few now, so I should have a full party as soon as I can get to the next area (Which I think is the path from mt chimney to Lavaridge? Should be able to get to the desert pretty soon though)
