Game over, unless you got backup in the box.
harsh
An Extra difficulty rule would be if you have 6, you can't have more. You need to have one die before you can catch your next Pokemon. So if you have 6 and you want something from Route 15 only, you better wait or kill one of your mons to get it and hope you get lucky. The PC can only be used for releasing and has to be used to release when the Pokemon is dead.
You have to release. It's got to be truly dead, No temptation to cheat, it's gone forever.
You can still cheat by saying "well, that knockout was bollocks, I'll give it another chance" Or missing any other hard-mode rule out temporarily. As long as you never use that pokemon again, the effect on the gameplay is exactly the same. Cheating is cheating, how you cheated makes no difference.
You need Willpower and Honesty. Bullshit or not, a loss is a loss in a challenge.
I've restarted over 20 times now, recently with rules to make it even easier. It's s till hard as hell.
Grind grind grind grind Always go with 10+ levels to gyms
There is an additional secondary rule which is: Highest leveled Pokemon can't be above the next gym's lowest leveled Pokemon. I don't follow it though, but grinding before every gym is boring. Usually I only grind with newly caught Pokemon since they are the weakest.
That one's ridiculous. If you put in the time, you should feel the rewards. It makes your losses more devastating if you see 5 hours of training go down the train with a lucky shot.
Secondary rules are stupid, Nuzlocke runs are hard enough without adding arbitrary level caps, healing limits and shit.
I took a 2 hours long walk this morning and got 700 watts, now my feet hurt like hell. 12 000+ steps. [editline]07:25PM[/editline] I can't believe the quiet cave requires 100 000 watts.
You have bad feet, should get them replaced.
You need Willpower and Honesty. Bullshit or not, a loss is a loss in a challenge.
I'm sure a bigger test of those is when you can very easily cheat - the pokemon being right there to be taken out and used again - than if there's no possibility to cheat in that area.
I had several level 100's on my Platinum to just breeze through the game after 8 badges. Never used them. It's not hard to resist cheating, unless you're naturally susceptible to it.
Can you not just shake it?
Nope, there's some sort of Nintendo-brand voodoo spell cast on the pokewalkers that can tell when you shake it
You just gotta shake it right. Not up and down, but left and right.
Meh, when I do need to shake it, I tap it against my hip or something at a regular pace
When you're in a battle and you have that row of pokeballs showing your party pokemon, what does it mean when one's wriggling like it's about to be caught?
When you're in a battle and you have that row of pokeballs showing your party pokemon, what does it mean when one's wriggling like it's about to be caught?
It means they are close to leveling up.
I put them in my PC and ship them via pal park. Releasing = Trading off. Sort of?
1. Take Pokewalker 2. Tap it on a textbook on your desk at school 3. Get watts Worked for me anyway.
When you're in a battle and you have that row of pokeballs showing your party pokemon, what does it mean when one's wriggling like it's about to be caught?
That's what that means? Wow
You can't just shake it up and down. You have to do it in a circular motion that's like you're actually walking if you want it to count. Or just tap it, I guess that works too.
I put them in my PC and ship them via pal park. Releasing = Trading off. Sort of?
Pokemon have to be alive to trade as far as I know. If it's true, that's no good.

Why is Metang so much higher?
I used advance starter to make it my starting pokemon. For some reason, i only ever seem to use my starter. No idea why.
