I disagree with everything you just said. In fact Torchic is the least stupid looking out of the gen 3 starters imo.
I know these new ones are silhouettes, but I can already see myself liking them more than gen 4. I'll wait until I see the actual coloured ones before passing any more judgement but I do recall disliking how all three gen 4 ones looked as soon as they were revealed (except Piplup but I don't like its evolutions)

Ok, I need a full rework. I need a team that is basically good at ANYTHING!
The guys in my class are dirty cheaters who make Bagons use fly and beldums hatch from eggs holding master balls. Needless is to say they breed lame pokemon, trade it to a pirated version and edit whats wrong with them, shaping them into shiny killing machines.
I need a team that can beat the crap out of these. Doesn't matters if their weak agains't them, they have to be freaking beasts. And NO legendaries!
Use everything from OP tier.
