I watched some guy on youtube go through 30 ultra balls on Zapdos in leaf green, and caught it with a regular pokeball after he ran out.
It seems Zapdos is just a bitch to everybody

lol it took me like a hundred tries on articuno, and only 4 tries on zapdos (aka, accidentally killing them, running out of pokeballs, etc)
Reminds me of how a friend caught Artic[U]uno[/U] in one ultra ball and Zap[U]dos[/U] in two. Then he did 15 on mol[U]tres[/U] so he didn't complete that combo.

Huh I caught him with 15 pokeballs, Moltres with 5 Ultraballs and Articuno with 13 greatballs.
I remember running around in Emerald trying to catch every legendary I could with Premiere balls, I kinda wish someone told me they were as weak as standard Pokeballs...
But it was too late, I had them all :P
