Right, Fire Blast. Shit already used it. Can it learn Flamethrower?
Guess the rest. [editline]10:12PM[/editline] Automergebreak.
Salamence, Dugtrio (Stealth Rocks/Revenge Killer), Suicine
No more steels. [editline]10:15PM[/editline] Ou team, Dugtrio is UU lead.
No more steels. [editline]10:15PM[/editline] Ou team, Dugtrio is UU lead.
Durrr, yes. Salamence and Suicine are not steel though. Thinking...
Anyone kind enough to trade a Murkrow for.. a worthless pokemon (any level is fine) pm me if you want to help.
a worthless pokemon (any level is fine)
They're called derps. [editline]10:19PM[/editline]
Right, Fire Blast. Shit already used it. Can it learn Flamethrower?
Buy another fire blast.
Ok, nother question. Weezing can learn both Flamethrower and Shadow Ball. I have about enough for one of those, which would serve a better purpose?
Flame.
Ok then. Next time its on, ill buy that.
Give it Black sludge as an item.
Everybody that I know hated Hoenn, but it was my favorite reigon. It was my first, too, but I still like them in this order: Hoenn, Johto, Kanto, Sinnoh. [editline]11:15PM[/editline]
also neutral damage from grass.
I RAGE whenever they break the Rock-Paper-Scissors dynamic in starters. At least in Hoenn they gave Swampwert a double weakness to grass and a double advantage to fire, but in Sinnoh, they just fucked the dynamic by making Monferno Fire-Fighting and Empoleon Water-Steel. RAGGGEEEE.
In case no one has seen these. (if you're curious, that's Zoroark and NOT Entei in the top right panel) Also Illusion sounds like a ass move, You encounter a wild Bidoof! Bidoof used Shadow Claw! Hitmonchan used Brick Break It's not very effective... You broke Zoroarks illusion! Also lol, moving sprites in battle. Thank god they don't stretch anymore
That fire pig is probably going to be badass fully evolved. Someone had a concept that it would have a fuse for a tail. A bomb pig? Sign me up.
Hitmonchan used Brick Break It's not very effective...
Super, Its dark type.
But poison, specifically toxic, is a beast to use against any type.
I open all my battles with Toxic spikes :3 And so many status ailments :3
The NPC sprites look like ass :S
In FireRed. It says Fire Blast can be gotten from beating Blaine, and from Silph Co.
I open all my battles with Toxic spikes :3 And so many status ailments :3
You know if you switch to poison type it absorbs the spikes?
You know if you switch to poison type it absorbs the spikes?
Yeah, I know, I have a Nidoking with Earthquake for such an occasion, then I put more spikes out. Although, Most people don't have a poison type in their party cos they're kinda weak :P I wonder if I can get a poison type to learn Toxic spikes AND Roar, so I can be an bastard forcing pokemon swaping into poison :P Still thinking whether I should badly poison or just poison an enemy though... Bad poison resets the counter on swap... But Poison will always do 1/8, so that's 8 turns of which I can use, fly, dig or protect to draw the battle out :P
That fire pig is probably going to be badass fully evolved. Someone had a concept that it would have a fuse for a tail. A bomb pig? Sign me up.
A giant warthog that's on fire. Awesome.
Fucking Clefairy used minimise like once, now ive missed my attack 4 times in a row..
Am I the only one who absolutely hates the open world in Black/White? I liked it when my character had lines/dots for eyes. :saddowns: [editline]05:21AM[/editline]

The moves being used by the starters looks like Water Pulse, Flamethrower, and Leaf Storm.
Seems like the city will actual residents walking around instead of being a ghost town like in the other games
Seems like the city will actual residents walking around instead of being a ghost town like in the other games
But I like talking to EVERYSINGLE PERSON in each of the games :P
wait is zorark going to be a roaming pokemon? on a side note, i like the new battle UI. dunno about the 3d-ness part, but i like how all the text boxes are semi-transparent. and the fact that the level/name is now not surrounded by a box.
Reading some descriptions from the Dex, pokemon can be pretty dark compared to the colorful game we see, examples are:
Scyther: Moves incredibly quickly and shreds its enemy with its razor-sharp scythes. On rare occasions, it flies with its wings.

Gengar: Lurking in the shadowy corners of rooms, it awaits chances to steal its prey's life force.

Pinsir: It grips prey with its pincers until the prey is torn in half. What it can't tear, it tosses far.
What the hell? Shredding enemies, stealing life forces, and tearing things in half? When will we see this side of Pokemon in games?
Feraligatr: When it bites with its massive and powerful jaws, it shakes its head and savagely tears its victim up.

Metagross: Metagross is the result of two Metang achieving fusion. When hunting, this Pokémon pins the prey to the ground under its massive body. It then eats the helpless victim using the large mouth on its stomach.
That actually may of been it. Ah well. Also is it bad that the thing I'm excited for most in B+W is the animated battle sprites? I know I said it before but the more I think about it the happier I am, even if it is just them leaning forward. Was tired of tackle just having the sprite pop to the left and the enemy flashing. Or extremespeed, that's the most hilarious looking move in the game in my opinion "I'll just, vanish and slowly nudge you to the left now"
Is it just me that wishes they stuck to the original style? It just looks pixleated and unfinished in that view. Even if it is in development. Im the "master" of page 37. muahah eehh shitty joke. Its too early to do this.
