If I had to pick a starter I imagine it would definitely be gastly. I've had a haunter in my team almost every single game I've ever played :p I would go for a scyther otherwise though :D

Quick question about piracy. Because I have brought Soul Silver for my ds is it illegal to download a rom to do a solo run on my computer? It's just a question and I hope I don't get banned for asking.

Starter for me'd easily be Charmander. Only starter to evolve and learn Fly.

If I had to start with a starter pokemon, I'd pick Cyndaquil :3 Otherwise, Mareep or Pikachu >_> I'm a very electric-type orientated trainer.

I would start with a Gastly. Because Gengar is my favourite pokemon. And he is an awesome special sweeper, and awesome in general. Does it mean Nintendo will come and kill you if you do it? no.
