It's illegal but no would would ever find out. However, HeartGold and SoulSilver have built in anti-piracy which stops them from working on emulators. If you copy the ROM from your cartidge it wont work but there are hacked versions with the anti-piracy removed.

You can get it to limit the levels to lv50 or lv100 if you like. I prefer lv50, cos I've only got one pokemon anywhere near lv100, and it just seems wrong.

It also brings those below level 50/100 up to lv50/100.

I'll admit that I haven't read through all 45 pages of this thread, but I haven't seen it before. Also, I'm pretty sure that more than makes up for seeing a disturbing Nidoking comic :p
So if you have a guy that learns a move at 58, your dude is at 60 and you are doing a 50 level max. Does it bring your guy down to 50 and do you keep that move?

It depends what game and rules you're using. If you're on DPPt, then it won't auto level them. If you're on HGSS on the flat level rules, then yes. Your lvl 60 will go down to 50 still knowing the move. If you're on battle revolution then everything gets auto levelled up to 100

Most of Nidoking's good moves are TM moves.
Seems the Lavender town music from Gen I wasnt just creepy and sad. It was also a little too high pitched, enough to stress speakers and human hearing
