Tactics to complete this is:
Transferring from other games
Using Serebii, etc to find where each pokemon is
Global Trade Center
Breeding last evolves to get first and second.
I've already got all the 1st gen starter evos.
I'm really excited for Black & White. Too bad they won't have Kotone. :saddowns:
I find it ultra confusing when hardcore fans refer to characters or Poke'mon by their Japanese names, it makes it impossible for me to understand what they're talking about.
Man I feel like the only casual (non-EV Trainer) player here.
I know how it works and all that jazz, but it just runs the fun right off in my book.

Cause Lyra is a horrible name and they should've just stuck with Kitone.

I've been trying this on my Pearl version for so damn long and I'm so close. I have 474 legit and so now I'm down to catching pretty much all the final legendaries off old versions DX Takes so long, especially when they refuse to be caught.
I tried catching Regice the other week and even though I kept sleeping it and had false swiped it to 1HP it ran out of PP and struggled to death >.<

Has anyone here "finished" the battle tower (i.e. beaten Palmer the 2nd time)? I managed to get a 34 win streak and then I got taken out (it was tragic).

No, gotten to him a few times but haven't beaten him.
Goddamn I hate Palmer. Whenever I want him to send out Dragonite first he sends out Milotic :saddowns:
And then he has legendaries in his second battle. How would he have obtained them in the first place?
Oh well, once I beat him I'm off to the battle factory because I'm trying to beat all of the facilities by going clockwise around the frontier (started at the battle hall because that's probably the easiest).

I EV train and stuff but what ruins my fun is when I'm not EV training or being serious about it and people still bash me for using the "wrong" moveset or Pokémon, and feeling smugly superior because they their way of playing the game is superior and rub it in everyone's faces.
