You know what might be interesting? If fainting pokemon did sort of mean something, like hard mode. But not permanently losing them, that's excessive. I'd certainly hate it. Something like being unusable for a week, or having one taken away from its level cap, being de-leveled (with a minimum level of 3), or something.

That wouldn't work.
You can faint out of pure bad luck at times. Crits out of nowhere, Confusion and pounding your own face.
The punishment is too high for something what is sometimes out of your control.
Something like 75% stats for the next 5 fights or something is fairer.

Sure, the actual consequences would probably need to be worked out. I just think losing a pokemon is too inconsequential. Essentially you've sent your friend into battle and he's taken such a beating that he was knocked unconscious. I think it needs to mean at least a little more than just having him unusable until you next get to a pokemon centre.

Star Wars has been declining in quality for years. The companies made of fans (like Bioware and those who make the comics) do a far better job of recreating the feeling than Lucas Arts does.
Pokemon has improved significantly since it started and has had little to no errors in what it has changed.
I just want to play as Red again and go to all the regions. That would be epic. :swoon:
I'm EV training my Charizard but I'm not going to be doing much multiplayer action so I was wondering what else to train it in other than Sp Atk. I don't really need great speed so I was thinking a bit in both HP and Sp Def.

God damnit I hate getting between Kanto and Johto, either fly to the league and then to where you want, or to Saffron/Goldenrod then wait for the process of having your ticket validated, then wait for the train, then wait for the train to get to Goldenrod/Saffron, then get some stupid message about how to pronounce the city names.
Anyway, put up my Electabuzz lv 15 for any Electabuzz over level 10 last night and got a trade done! :woop:
