Ah what the hell.
I declared war on Iraq and popularity rose, Turkey decided to join the coalition and we began to pummel Iraq. I then demanded they surrender and they responded saying I'm a coward and that its a sign of weakness. In response I nuked them. China nuked me in response. Me and the UK (strong ally) both nuked China as a retaliatory strike. China nuked us again and I nuked China.
Then the Soviet Union surprisingly began to restrict trade to China and asked to improve relations with me to which I accepted. The UK and China nuked each other several timed then the UK attempted to assassinate China's leader but kept failing. China then kept condemning us.
Taking Soviet Union's new support for us against China into account I decided to do a surgical strike on China's nuclear facilities, as I was about execute the strike, I was interrupted by a diplomatic note from the Soviet Union asking me to cease all attacks on China. I ignored it and they sent me another one saying they will "use all measures and the fullest possible force or something like that to prevent further attacks on China."
I ignored it again considering the Soviet Union pretty much supported me so I carried on with the surgical strike against China. Then those Russian bastards betrayed me and nuked me and the UK promptly wiping us off the face of the globe.
I wonder how much China bribed those Russians.
Well, the war is heating up. The UK has successfully committed espionage on the US and popularity has dropped to 18%.
The world quality of life is now 11%.
Is there a way to skip the tutorial? It starts every time I play
Not to my knowledge, no.
Also, I just overwrote my save accidently.
In short, everybody died.
Have anyone tried not blowing everything up? If yes, how did it go?

I nuked North Korea, but everyone hated me. Then the Soviet union decided to nuke me, then I nuked them back, killing over 270,000 people. Then more people hated me and I got impeached.

I'm not entirely sure what to do in this game. I mean, I can nuke a couple countries. But I only have 5000 nukes. How do I aquire moar?

I think it removes them from the game.
I've decided to play this seriously (Not nuking everybody... To start with at least) and have been making best friends with Mexico, telling Cuba off and asking Canada nicely to spend less on military.
Also cutting military spending and putting it into Social and Investment. Also slight reduction of personal tax coupled with $1 increase in corporate.

I got in a war with cuba, and they were losing soldiers to a ratio of 961 to 1. I ask them if they want to surrender, and they said no and they thought that i was weakening. what the hell?
fun fact, if you are in the war room, you lessen your chance of being assassinated by 60-95%
