Why's everybody talking about official dedicated servers all of a sudden? I thought they completely dropped the server support and went with peer 2 peer connections.

9v9 is a little disappointing to me, mods are really no big loss since: A. All good mods never get released and B. I have no desire to install mods for MW1 at all.

Fuck multiplayer, I'm only going to get the game for the singleplayer campaign. Punkbuster can go to hell.

Thank you for making this thread. I wasn't completely sure that they had gotten rid of dedicated servers yet, despite the hundreds of other people complaining about it.

The trailers have gotten me psyched for the SP alone, and that seems like it's going to be totally worth the $60 by itself. Multiplayer, no matter how shitty, is always a welcome addition.
