The game doesn't work for me. It just gives me a black screen, although I can hear music. Running Windows 7 x64.

I updated my videocard drivers and still getting a black screen. I'm going to reboot my PC and see if that helps.

I know. The warhammer Online gamers are just whining en masse and the Bioware Boards are burning up because of the casual "arcadey" aproach of ME2 while the rest tell them to shut up since ME1 was casual in the first place according to their definition.
You don't even want to know what DA2 is compared to the hardcore über board-game RPG Origins. Facepalm galore. Everybody be hatin'.
What it boils down to though is 12 year olds with a superiority complex trolling the place to shit with their MenZa mentality because they're excluded from MenSa.
Just Imagine that now they are using such graphics for a parody but 8 years ago people would let their
leg chop off for such eye candy for their times.

Mirror's edge, Minecraft, Fallout... They are pretty different.
You know, there's a small, very very small chance that this game will be a milestone and start a new fashion of FPS. So "modern" war scenarios will die... and we'll get our "fantasy" fps with actual world originality back...
Oh wait, there's also Duke Nukem Forever... gentlemen, chances are rising!

Mirrors Edge is a platformer and Minecraft is a construction sandbox.

This is actually the most fun game I've played in a long time.
This may actually be a good concept. Games like this can become un-fun if it is too long, but there is definitely potential for this to be expanded upon and sold as a $30 game.
The Redneck Rampage franchise was initially pretty good, as was Shadow Warrior. You run into the problem where the developers and writers try too hard and the result is shit though.

Got the first Redneck Rampage on disk but never got my act together to play it.
Best game ever.
