The meaningless stick and sheets of paper might have just been poking fun at 'Find this Item' objectives, but it reminds me of all those fucking pointless 'Collect/Destroy/Lookit 50 of These Things' woven into some games. There's usually no good reason to go out of your way and abandon the marginally more fun act of manshooting to go searching for some berk's lost laptop or blow up an enemy communications post that even the enemy doesn't seem to know about. Funny little game. Would pay £60 for the sequel plus additional charges for map packs any day.
