You'd be surprised about how much people get a hit out of boring, tedious, yet realistic games.

I play through the single player of ever CoD game I've ever had at least 10 times. God, I love the campaigns. (The exceptions to this are CoD3 and WaW) CoD2: Big Red One was kick ass.

Those games are like the actual battles in warfare (with the exception of Arma, but even that has more action than the average soldier faces). None of those games are anything like being in Iraq right now.
