Woah, this texture pack is cooler than I expected. Keep up the good work!

Actually I suck at those.

Made a few changes, added shading to the bricks to make them match the other blocks and look less flat. Updated iron block to match the piston (lovely job by the way). I also completely redid the half block, if people don't like it we can always change it, but this one blends better IMO. I like Flak's half blocks much better.[/QUOTE] I posted about the halfblocks needing work earlier, I clearly said we can always change that if people didn't like it but flak's halfblock didn't fit the theme of the pack as it lacked proper shading, the same way his jack o lantern doesn't fit the pack because it lacks proper shading and noise.

Having things just be a copy paste of another texture pretty much is saying "Fuck it, I don't want to do this texture." Also the old halfblock was fine. This one won't really make a good flooring at all. I can't see any use for it, actually.

I can't see any use for it, actually.[/QUOTE] I think the iron block is fine, yes its copy/paste but it makes sense in this instance, besides its not a direct copy paste, the borders we changed and overall the whole texture was softened. The old halfblock texture had odd shading that generally didn't fit, I'll fix up this one later. [editline]17th April 2012[/editline] Here, better? I don't like the iron block either, but I do like those half-slabs. Not sure if I prefer those or the previous, so I suggest another vote. Agree for johnlmonkey's half-slabs, Disagree for FlakTheMighty's half-slabs Also john and flak are not allowed to vote.

edit: Thought you were having trouble finding which block to edit for top grass texture (top left greyed out one I believe) but just realised that's probably what you've edited anyway and that's what isn't working right. nvm ignore me then

Do i make the top of the piston full-wooden? (+ the green goop) As Alfie said, so he can hide the piston and etc. If anyone want it without the "iron" things on sides and top, there it is. (MOVED TO ANOTHER POST DOWN THERE \/)

I'm personally voting for John's just because i'm used to them being actual half-blocks, so john's take priority for the moment, but is it time we start considering that customiser site? Probably quite a way off, but if things like this *keep* happening it may be worth it. That or an alt-slabs download.

People please, before making a block examine the ones already in the pack. Notice the noise and the textures, hence why flat textures with no noise just don't fit. I'm going to remake that pumpkin if nobody minds.
