It's games like this that make me hate my PC even more than normal. Can't run shit.
i was wondering when leveling which warrior skill buffs spears?
The spear is an interesting weapon, in that it doesn't fit into the sword/mace/axe category, and thus, can't be buffed by any skills. It's only real purpose is the reach it has, enabling any party member in the back row to use it. A good early weapon as well.
Have you guys been able to find any decent walkthroughs/guides for this yet? Still stuck on level 3 by the sacrifice spot. :(

i hope one of the first updates or mods is a random dungeon option
I don't really know if I can call this a roguelike. The combat isn't turn based, which is one of the most important things to a roguelike. [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] Well, that is, it didn't seem to be turn based, so I may be wrong. [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] Either way, it still looks great.

Wait you can sleep? How?
it's not a roguelike, it's more in lines of games like daggerfall
It's pretty much an HD Dungeon Master/Eye of the Beholder style game, it has nothing to do with roguelikes besides being a dungeon crawl. Not turn based, not random, no permadeath, ect; the title should be changed.
Wait you can sleep? How?
Press R
[sp] Yeah I know about that button to the left of the gate, but how do you open the gate? [/sp]
[sp]You don't need to. It doesn't open. You sacrifice something and some items appear when you push the button. One of those items opens an iron gate if I remember[/sp]. [editline]14th April 2012[/editline]
How do I cure the spider poison?
It will heal automatically after a certain time. You can rest "R" to speed the process up a bit, but it uses more food. [editline]14th April 2012[/editline]
It's games like this that make me hate my PC even more than normal. Can't run shit.
You should be able to run this. It's pretty well optimized and it's not exactly graphics intensive. There are probably no more than 5000 polys on screen at once. The trolls like like high poly model, but they have been normal mapped really well.
A Rogue actually can boost "Reach Weapons" in the Assassination skill.
Actually, the "Reach Weapons" skill allows the Rogue to use ANY melee weapon from the back row. It doesn't boost Reach Weapons specifically.
Playing this game is easy., watching people play- that's hard.
Just got to floor 10. [sp]Fuck those invincible necromancer nazghul things. Fuck them.[/sp] [editline]14th April 2012[/editline] [sp]Apparently they aren't invincible, they just have a VERY tought shield. In order to beat them, I have to kill one, go back to the crystal and heal, then I can move on. Atleast until I find another one.[/sp]

It's not about the damage you can deal, it's all about the damage you can avoid.
I'm stuck on floor seven at the room [sp]where a demon head is fires a bolt of light at a wall plate and makes the floor toggle on and off, there's a door on the other side but no way to open it,[/sp] what do I do.

It's impossible to dodge all their attacks while focusing down one. I'll see if I can navigate around it though.[/sp] [editline]14th April 2012[/editline]
I'm stuck on floor seven at the room [sp]where a demon head is fires a bolt of light at a wall plate and makes the floor toggle on and off, there's a door on the other side but no way to open it,[/sp] what do I do.
There's a [sp]hidden switch on the northwest wall (I think it's that one). If you go to the center of the room, and you look at the thing that the head is shooting at, it's the wall directly to the left of that.[/sp]

I didn't see it either at first. I spent a looong time looking for it.
Could I get some advice about the iron door on floor 5? [sp]I was sure that "sleeping where the dragons gaze" would mean sleeping in front of the dragon statue nearby but that's doing jack all, I couldn't figure out the doors on floor 3 so it'd be nice to at least get this one[/sp]

It's easiest if you map them on your map with something like "This dragon is looking downwards". That way, when you've mapped both of them, you'll be able to find the tile they are both facing. Just wait there for a while, and it should pop open.[/sp]
God I want this, but moving troubles have completely drained my pockets.

I hadn't actually found the [sp]second dragon[/sp] yet so there was the source of my confusion.
No problem mate. How do I [sp]get past the locked doors on level 12? I ventured down into level 13, and picked up a cogwheel, but I haven't been able to find any keys.[/sp] [editline]14th April 2012[/editline] I [sp]found out that I need four cogwheels, but I am unable to find the last two. Goddamnit[/sp] [editline]14th April 2012[/editline] I've spent a fucking hour on this one puzzle. If anyone can help, please do.

That is, I think only one key is randomly dropped from a monster, and you'll have to pick one to open to get a small reward inside. That's what I gathered anyway.[/sp]

How many floors are there? I'm just on level 3, and I did not choose my own people and am kind of regretting that. Should I swap out or finish the game and replay it? How is the re playability factor?

This looks amazing for mods. What's the developer's position on the tools?
