Yeah. I needed a few emails to create some Steam accounts a while ago, and I've been rolling with them ever since for all sorts of things requiring referals and/or multiple accounts.
Seriously, friend referral-based marketing is like the easiest fucking thing to bypass.
cheating isn't exactly cool, they're trying to get popularity for their game, not have people cheat to get into the beta.

Bought this game and installed the beta, jesus christ literally everything is broken.
I had to alt tab into the game because it didn't open the launch window by itself. I went into the coat of arms creator and fiddled around with it. This was the only thing that worked flawlessly. I went into the server browser.

Sigh. I tried using my monitor buttons to reposition the screen but nothing worked. I went into video settings, and fiddled around with them. Eventually I fixed it. I had to change the resolution to 1600x (whatever) and the screen looked right. I went into a match and there was really bad sound stuttering. My FPS was terrible and combat was near impossible. I checked my settings again. Everything had been set to low, but a load of things like tessellation had been set to highest. The hell? if it had to auto detect my settings and change them accordingly, why didn't it set that to low? I changed them around and went back to 1080x resolution. I joined a match despite the screen issues and still it lagged like a bitch and the sound stuttered. Literally the only thing I managed to do was interrupt people executing people on the ground and steal their kills. I have a pretty mediocre rig but I have managed to run BF3 on medium before at near launch. And that was terribly optimised. This game isn't worth touching with a barge pole at the moment.
I'm enjoying this a lot. It's what Mount & Blade's multi-player should've been.
Anybody that's been in the alpha mind telling me whether it had drastic changes in the gameplay since then? Because the base mechanics were pretty damn mediocre, and if those weren't changed then I can't really promise a good future for the game.
Played about 15 matches and all of them had house York winning by a lot. Every, single, time.
And with plate armor, you can just win the game seeing how most people don't realize how easy it is to block and parry.

the game looks like it could be really good. but people are saying otherwise. but it is in beta right now
IMO the fatalities happen way too often

they could make it like M&B, but right now it's just kind of boring
they need sieges and stuff, instead of just fighting for control over a couple of flags, and a more entertaining combat system, shit M&B's was pretty simple but it works better than this games' for some reason
