I'd buy BF, but I have massive ADD with games, I change games like every 2 days, and always seem to forget about RTS games. Plus, BF doesn't have player vs computer skirmishes, and I don't normally play multiplayer on RTS games, so I feel like I'd beat it then have wasted money :(

It's barely ever attacks because it's supposed to be a mission type of game.
If you want Player V Computer just go play Warcraft or something then instead of complaining.

I'm not complaining, I know that BF is different than other RTSes. I just don't think I'll have enough to do after I beat the missions.
The computer matches aren't skirmishes; they're PvE plot missions. Much like MMO PvE, like a WoW raid, the bosses and mobs in the raid won't actively search you out and take you down. You and the raid progress through the raid, and in BattleForge, you and your partners progress through the mission against a mostly entrenched computer.
For skirmishes, you've gotta go PvP.
Ok, finally got the game and am installing (2.7 gig, ouch) Any tips?
Ooh this is quite fun, though there's never anybody who wants to do the PvE stuff. I only do the single-player campaign.
I love to do PvE, and am online constantly. Just post here or add me on BattleForge, I'm getting online now.
