No they don't. They get some cards free (crappy) that's it. You got BFP with your purchase.
Hey, I paid 30 bucks for the game on Steam, and now everyone gets it for free? Lame.
You get 3,000 Bf Points (like that above poster said) along with all four starter decks (not the crappy ones given out to play for free players)
It's shit, I got it free with my 4890HD. Well it looks shit anyway, haven't bothered installing it because the card based system sounded so unreasonably terrible.
It is actually pretty fun and finally something different than the base building concept that existed for the past 15 years in RTS games.
More people wanted for BattleForge!
So I got 3000bfp, right? Then I got a tome with Avatar of Frost, right? Which I then sold, right? Then I got another tome, right? This time with Enlightenment, right? Which I also sold, right? So now I got 3300bfp and a shitload of cards... ... im awesome ...
Fucking lucky. My one tome was full of shit.
You should've kept Enlightenment.
Sooo and update on my status. i had a 72 hour ban when i was labled as a cheater, contacted EA support and theve been helpful so far and have unbanned my account early (hopefully because they saw i havent cheated) but all my upgraded as gold are still gone. Hopefully they can restore them at some point.
Didn't think EA could actually have good customer support. What a surprise.
Is there anyway to change gold into BFP, I have about 500 gold and nothing to do with it lol
Is there anyway to change gold into BFP, I have about 500 gold and nothing to do with it lol
500 is shit. Go to the Battleforge forums here and go to trading.
well ive only played a few games, I just wandered if there is anything to actually do with the gold apart from upgrades
well ive only played a few games, I just wandered if there is anything to actually do with the gold apart from upgrades
You can trade cards for them with other players, or you can trade other players BFP for gold.
Is there anyway to change gold into BFP, I have about 500 gold and nothing to do with it lol
The Gold:BFP exchange rate is about 350:1 You can buy most (see: all) common cards for 400 gold, which is a good deal. Do that.
I'm Elvenking in game, I got tired of the starter deck and bought what was supposed to be the game. :) They got me! Har har!
I'm Elvenking in game, I got tired of the starter deck and bought what was supposed to be the game. :) They got me! Har har!
what is this i dont even know
I'm thinking of buying the full game off Amazon for £4, that comes with something like 3000 BFP and 64 cards. Infact, I might buy it twice lol
You can only redeem the full game once per account.
You can only redeem the full game once per account.
Create two accounts and send cards and bfp to one?
I'm thinking of buying the full game off Amazon for £4, that comes with something like 3000 BFP and 64 cards. Infact, I might buy it twice lol
Thats exactly what im doing, and the fact i also have beta accounts i get 2 more firedancers for free =) Just make new accounts and transfer it over (since u can also get the base 64 cards again if u need to charge an upgrade).
I just got this game, it's pretty fun so far.
Im sure i read somewhere that you could redeem the code form the full game multiple times, i'll try and find where I read that... *edit* Found it, on the battleforge website go to About the game, then the FAQ, then section 1.12. It reads as follows : "Yes! The codes are stackable. This means that each time you enter a code from a BattleForge Box, you receive not only the 3000 points, but you also receive the 64 cards from the starter decks in your virtual collection."
i'm going to try this out to see how well it is. edit: don't like it... uninstalled. I don't really like card-games.
Anyone want to join me for a game?
Well it seems that to get any good at this game you have to spend money, and it's not much of an RTS rather build a whole bunch of strong monsters and gangbang your enemies.
2.7gb download? Damn. At least the download is 760kb/s. About an hour to download if my math is correct.
Reminds me too much of Saga, just that Saga is made by a indie developer.
Reminds me too much of Saga, just that Saga is made by a indie developer.
Saga didn't have cards.
The story makes no fucking sense at all. If the deal was they make a new Sun in return for all the mortals' treasure, and they took the treasure and made a new Sun, then the deal happened as it should, and nothing went wrong. And if there is a new Sun and the world is bright, then why is it the Age of Twilight? Just because the planet is no longer utopia land? And why have the gods "gone"? Is there a reason for them to leave? If they are gods then they should care about the land they rule, since it it theirs to protect. And if they just left, then I would like to know why. Sorry, but I either want a background story that makes complete sense, and comes full circle, or not have one at all and have the Dev's ignore any background. But Half ass'd stories really piss me off.
