It's an RTS, where the units, buildings, and spells you can use are represented by cards. You can only have up to 20 cards in your deck, and each card can be used several times. However, to use a card, you need both power, and one or more orbs, which you gain by capturing power wells and monuments, respectively.
Well, that's the condensed version, at least.

People think this game sucks because we get standard shit cards when others get excellent "pwntastic" cards, and we have the perfect strategy, but not the firepower to carry it out.

This game was never meant to be free. We get it free. We have access to all the same cards that everyone else does, all the same upgrades, etc. Just play lots more PvE early on and you'll do fine in PvP.

Even if you dont buy new cards, the game is fun. Just play some PvE with friends and you will find out.
It's free, you can get what you want by earning, don't be lazy, you can earn everything if you trade.
I feel ripped off and I didn't pay anything.
How do you trade? I'm level 4 PvE and I only know how to auction and bid.

If you trade gold for BF, you save up for cards. Besides, for like 5$ at the store you can get 250 BF which is enough for most cards. Mind you I won't be paying for anything, I'll just slowly earn my deck.
