The Morrowind soundtrack is the only one that has made a game sound as epic as that game did. It makes you feel accomplished when you do the smallest of tasks. I walk to Balmora, and the music makes me feel like I beat the game.

Star Ocean on the PS2 also had some awesome music, I remember it as being fast paced metal/electronic music.

Also, the original Doom's MIDI tracks. That shit is so fast paced and suited to the game, it's incredible.
