I really liked Aether. It seems to run at over 300 FPS for me though, so no problems with me. And goddamn the original Meat Boy was terrible. I mean, maybe it's because I've gotten used to Super Meat Boy, but the controls in that game just feel really crap.
does Meat Boy still have auto-scrolling levels? I remember the flash version having them

In Super Meat Boy, you cling to a wall for about one tenth of a second after moving the direction away from it. So in Meat Boy, you expect yourself to cling to a wall, but then you just fall off.
-snip- Anyone care to remind me how spoiler tags work? I tried
, [?] and [s] and they didn't work so it must be something else.
Mellowbloom there's a spoiler tag.

Tri-achnid is the game I'm having most problems with so far. It doesn't help you cannot change the quality.
Having a lot of fun with Aether the fucking green planet I can not figure out
Aren't a lot of these collaborations?
Agh. I suck at Grey Matter. How many levels are there? (Also why doesn't AVGM save?!) Edit: Just got to the boss. Time Fcuk get's hard quickly :l
I've only beaten Coil. :c Time Fcuk is probably my favorite out of all of these games, even if I get stuck all the time.
Time Fcuk get's hard quickly :l
Yeah, but after you sit and stare at it angrily for 10 minutes, you realize how obvious the puzzle was. That's at least how it worked for me.
As an avid Time Fcuk fanboy, going through it for the 4th time is no problem.
Having a lot of fun with Aether the fucking green planet I can not figure out
Jump up using the clouds. Find the things spewing stuff out seemingly causing the green atmosphere. Swing on them, and you'll see they gradually get bigger until they explode. Find all of them and then I think you're done.
This Aether Q&A is just really cool, as he talks about maybe doing a sequel and all that. <3

I find the current ending really sad, and I feel like there's more to it. [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] Also Triachnid was beautiful.
I've not actually finished it. I've still got one more planet to do, just not gotten round to it.
Is there a second ending? I find the current ending really sad, and I feel like there's more to it.
Nevermind, after looking at the achievements I think I figured it out. Don't tell anything. :v: [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline]
I've not actually finished it. I've still got one more planet to do, just not gotten round to it.
I don't know, I found the whole thing really simple. There are like four planets excluding Earth and each one has only has one puzzle. The ones on Gravida and Malaisus are trivial, which leaves the two others, which aren't too complicated either. Unless I really missed something there and didn't actually finish the game?
I wish I could lower the quality on the flash games so I could play 'em.
I wish he'd changed Meat Boy to handle more like Super Meat Boy. Do these work with a controller by any chance?
I wish he'd changed Meat Boy to handle more like Super Meat Boy. Do these work with a controller by any chance?
I think you'd need an external program. Edit: This was on the Grey Matter Newgrounds page.
Grey Matter can be played with the Xbox 360 controller using FlashJoystick. To install FlashJoystick visit http://flashjoystick.pillowfortgames.com/ To install mapping for this game you'll need this file. http://www.tommunism.com/greymatter/greymatter.fstick once FlashJoystick is installed, if you just hit open instead of save for the .fstick file, it'll auto load into FlashJoystick and you'll be able to play. Special thanks to Tommy for FlashJoystick!
Edit 2: http://flashjoystick.pillowfortgames.com/mappingfiles/meatboy.fstick for Meatboy binds. There might be more on the pages for other games. Don't know if they work with the collection.
Coil is fucking wierd, though the Q&A is interesting.
Just finished Time Fcuk, i think. It's a damn good game even if I had to look up how to do a few of them
oh
oh
Shouldn't of ordered seconds
How the heck do I play Coil I'm at the bit in the beggining with colored dots but I don't know what to dooo
I'm curious, how do I find the secret stuff in Aether? As in, the stuff which appears to be crossover content. I've beaten Aether A, do I need to do it with B and C as well?
I just can't bring myself to get the game. I liked super meat boy, and BoI was good for a time but... these really are just a handful of flash games that are all up on newgrounds. Yeah few new art assets and a couple new levels but he didn't bother (from what I hear) to add game pad support for meat boy; didn't bother to reduce lag on a lot of the games due to flash and it just seems kind of half assed overall. I really don't want to support him if he's just going to be tossing a handful of flash games on steam; especially with how buggy they tend to be. Just my 2c though; not really looking to start a fight or anything.
I haven't had any issues so far, granted I've only played Coil, Time Fcuk, and Meat Boy
There's a few post in this thread; but I heard it's pretty much unplayable for a few others on various sites due to lag and such.
