here's an old LP of B&W1 from Something Awful

Anyone know where I can find his B&W2 Let's Plays?
I used to burn wood, pick it up, and hoover it above the enemies towns. You can't drop it outside your influence, but it still burns people and objects.
ha
Yeah, that was one of the better tricks in B&W2, which I used a lot to make sure the enemy Siren and the like wasn't able to be used. As long as it was a bit damaged, they could not use it because it is not counted as built.
Also had a lot of fun in the first game by making firestones. Just find a natural bowl in the landscape, place a few big rocks in it. Then tap them in order to make a bunch of smaller rocks, then dump a fireball in the bowl. Just holding the burning rocks near houses and people set things on fire, and for me they never cooled down.
Damn, I realize now I have to reinstall this... damn you guys. Damn you to hell.

I'll use that trick next time.
I remember if you pause the game and ever so carefully drag your hand out of the influence you can pick up anything you want because there'll be a moment where the influence is still in the hand after you unpause.
Been playing B&W 2 nonstop since 12 in the morning (it's 23 now), but I think I'm gonna head off to bed now.
Installing both of them now. I'll probably play through the first one all next week.
I love it when after beating your creature he starts to laugh.
"Oh-ho-ho! These fatal festering wounds are just silly. Ow"

That's not laughing. That's him internally hemorrhaging and coughing up blood, due to the immense beatings you have committed against the poor thing. You bastard.
So I were on the 3rd Island on B&W when I suddenly saw some villagers dancing around a random rock in my first village. It looked enchanted or something. Does this happen to you too? :v:

Those are called artefacts. Read all about them here: http://www.rdrop.com/~half/General/GameTips/bw.tips.html
How do I scroll the text in the signs in the first game?
How do I scroll the text in the signs in the first game?
Click the action button on it, and pull towards and push away from you.

Hold the Action Button over the text and move the mouse up or down.
I'm seriously getting raped in land 4. There are fireballs raining from the sky nonstop, so in order to defend against these, my villagers are in a constant worshipping status. The fact that they spend every wake minute dancing around means they can't indulge in sexual relations, thus, no offspring is generated, and my village will die slowly. Luckily, there's a gang of ogres who periodically steals my people to take care of the "slowly" thing, ensuring that my village dies as quickly as possible.
And as the cherry on top, my good conscience. Oh god, he keeps pissing me off the entire time.
Seriously, what to do?

Source?
Source?
Shall look around, but my mind poped back that the rights belong to EA games.
I saw it on Gamed a few months ago
God, I finally did it. As soon as I noticed how to stop the fireballs, I rushed to solve this puzzle. Then, a huge norse wonder took care of any resource problems, and boosted my strength creature miracles, so that I could easily defeat the ogre. Now I'm going to swap my cow for a wolf! :unsmith:
The second project isn't that Dimitri like it's always been.
Or was that Milo and Kate?
On the second Japanese Land, oh God I almost feel sorry for their Tiger, my Lion was twice it's size and mercilessly beat the shit out of it.
For a while I wondered if I was meant to call it off, cos my lion kept on punching long after the tiger was on the floor unconcious.

I was so proud

Yeah, they'll dance around the strangest things though. But if you drop it in another village that'll make a lot of belief.
Japanese tiger comes on over, picked up two fire miracles, drenched it's ass in fire and fire that was on fire.
I remember reading that in alpha testing the B&W2 creature picked up a fire miracle and squeezed it, pouring lava onto its feet, setting it on fire. It then ran off into the sea to put itself out.
Sigh.
I remember in the first real island I made my cow SO FAT that he looked like an inflated owl with horns. Eventually, though, we vomited so much he died.
Uhh
So I gave my creature a miracle bubble
He ate it. I don`t think he learned anything though.
Man, I just installed B&W2 because of this thread.
Unfortunately I got some sort of mouse bug where the hand doesn't move unless you jerk your mouse fast. Which basically makes it unplayable.
they seriously need to make b&w3 i used the love two and one D:

Yeah, B&W 2 was supposed to be much better than the first one in terms of everything. They obviously had to cut on stuff though. :/
I'm pretty sure you just have to wait for him to finish beating the shit out of him
Yup, after a while he did some finishing move where he snapped his neck or something.
Ten minutes later the tiger comes back and my Lion does it all over again, after the third time I got a tribute bonus! :haw:

Interesting. I've had the game for years, but never knew about this.
