And then the portal to the second world threw EVERYTHING into the water. :froggonk:
Fuck you FP. Reinstalling... I hope this works on vista. :(
Holy shit Just got 100 percent good on the first land, then i went to the Japanese land and my 87% good wolf changed to a default lion? THE FUCK?

Goddamn last world in the first game. Got so tired of constant fireball-rape and ogre-attacks that i just stopped. God dammit.
Anyone got the link to the trainer that allows you to instantly build buildings, I just want to build a super-city really fast :3:
Could anyone really stay neutral? it was along time since I played the game but my temple always seemed to get curled with spikes most of the time. also the theme.
Sadly there was a game breaking glitch from Lionhead being "forced" to release the first game early, and one of them was that the game was FAR too picky in what it took to be good, so unless you did some exploits, it was basically impossible to get a Good temple and you would always get an evil one before too long, I got ticked off enough once I got a trainer and every time I started to get an evil looking temple I would force it to set me back to 100% good because I was playing good. not exactly game breaking, but annoying as heck actually.... But B&W2 kind of fixed it by doing the new version, where Uprooting a tree might be a minor evil, but using said tree to build new buildings for your people, supply them with wood, or to plant it in a park in the town, is a slightly better good, so the overall result is good points.. I would use it so I could be a defensive, rarely aggressive good god, by taking poverty based towns, and making them basically much better "Tourist loving" locations, from crapshackville, to a lovely place to live, though mostly I would just use my armies to protect my town, military as a necessary evil basically
Just started it up again. I always loved how you could move your mouse and disturb the black and white particles in the Lionhead logo in the intro movie. Nostalgia'ing so much right now :3
I didn't realise I had finished the first level, so I kept building until there were thousands of houses and shit all over the island, shit's insane bro.
Sucks that on the first land you have to conquer one place by force. After i captured it though I won instantly.
Sucks that on the first land you have to conquer one place by force. For some reason though I kept getting evil points for leaving it neglected. So in the end I built a temple and that seemed to shut them up for the remainder of my time on the land.
kinda of a dumb question, but how do you expand your influence ring in black & white 1?, in B&W2 you just build close to the ring's borders. The tutorial didn't explain how.
I think you just build town centers near the edge and build up a village around that.
Or you just capture other towns, IIRC. I just reinstalled it, but for some reason it's running really slow and laggy, and the graphics are flickering all the time - it ran way better on my old PC from around 10 years ago :S Anyone experienced that, too, and has a solution? EDIT: Okay, I seriously don't see the point in rating me dumb for that. I'd rather appreciate some help.
thanks, time smash some towns
Found my all my dics (B&W + Creature Isle and B&W2). In the process of installing again.
Do creatures change in Black 'N White 2? I had a wolf and now it's a lion?

Villager + Tree + hand = Hilarity Big Rock + Houses in a row + Hand = DOUBLE HILARITY Creature + Creature Trainer + Mouth = MAXIMUM HILARITY.
Do creatures change in Black 'N White 2? I had a wolf and now it's a lion?
That's a glitch. It's happened to me too, whenever I move on to the next Island from any save game it turns my creature into a lion. I remember there was some documentation about it somewhere, but I can't remember where and thew Google comes up with nothing. Also, on the topic of the third game, I'm pretty sure not only has the B&W team split up, but EA owns the rights and they don't look like they want to give them up. So it looks like From Dust would be the best bet for another Black and White-esque god game.
Lionhead are still around, except they are now making shitty RPGs for the Xbox (and PC).
Fable 2 and Fable 3 :smith: Don't know if Lionhead have lost their charm or if Microsoft is just screwing it all over.
Is it B&W 1 or 2 cause if its one just do what I did and it should work if it's 2 i'm sorry i can't help.
Oh, yeah, I was talking about B&W1. And I fiddled around with the setup stuff, no configuration seems to work for me so far.
Lionhead are still around, except they are now making shitty RPGs for the Xbox (and PC).
What I meant was that some of the people who worked on B&W have moved on to other studios, or haven't really done anything since B&W 2.
Well when I reinstalled I made a new folder in C: called games for some reason it doesn't work when installed to program files.
eidly eidly deee~~~ eidly eidly deee~~~ Gsh how I love this one!!
Fuck In the first mission on battle of the gods, where you have to save the men, all of them died but one. he needs to get it on or ima throw him at the other god
Reminds me of that dude in one of the later levels that was IMMORTAL. The guy just sits at a campfire, taunting at YOU, a GOD. He pisses you off so much but you CANNOT MURDER HIM
if you notice, you can do stuff around that guy, no matter where he is. So throw him at an enemy village, do stuff outside your influence (:science:)
