Thief series has a oh so special place in my heart 1 and 2 i fucking loved so much. They butt fucked the series with Deadly Shadows they tried to hard with getting the special feel from the first to games just with the "improved" graphics and the gameplay suffered from that. It was the amazing gameplay and story of the first two that I'll never fucking forget.

I liked the third one quite a bit too, but yeah, it doesn't beat the first ones.

Yeah, I am butthurt :saddowns: It just wasn't the same Thief experience for me.
Yeah, I've been trying to figure out why I don't like Deadly Shadows and came to the conclusion that there's nothing wrong with it.
Started to play Deadly Shadows again, just finished the first castle :buddy:
It gets all weird though when I try to wall hug or lockpick, he just stares at the lock before giving me control after a few seconds. I heard enabling vsync fixes it though so I'll try that later.

Never had that problem. Maybe, because I didn't know what Vsync was or did at the time I got this game! :buddy:
I've only played thief 3; hate me. I loved it though. The Shadlebrige Cradle is the scariest thing I've ever experienced.
I remember the excitement I got after playing the first game.
