Honestly I see nothing wrong at all with the textures in KOSMOS. The actual geometrical detail of the models themselves more than makes up for any perceived texture deficiency I think you see. I keep thinking of throwing out all my mod parts and replacing everything with KOSMOS + Angara, but I get so overwhelmed by how complex some of that stuff is. The little capsule thing in itself feels like a million parts.

it comes with a base save to use and add your stuff onto :P
as for detail i hope to reduce that via normal maps.

So, I'm converting my everything to Angara + Kosmos. After messing around with it a bit I think I understand it all a lot better now. I had to make some minor tweaks to make everything work like I think it should, but now that those are done I'm loving it.
I just finished putting my first Kosmos station in orbit. It's somewhere behind that lens flare.

Ahh, I guess when I thought I downloaded it, i just downloaded angara, I think the link for the kosmos pack wasn't there when I dled Angara, it was just the angara link and the node hotfix link.

Launching my Kosmos station I accidentally left a big fuel tank and attached engine orbiting just behind the station. I can't be leaving space garbage everywhere, I saw Wall-E. Using MechJeb and the [url=http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=6452.0]Sunbeam laser[/url] plugin, I rendezvoused with the space garbage and shot it out of the sky.
This game is so awesome.
