so uhhh anyone got any idea what .15.1 did?
so uhhh anyone got any idea what .15.1 did?

Bug Fixes and Tweaks: * Fixed a couple of issues with the parts action UI popups and their code bindings. * Tweaked the time warp altitude limits. It is now possible to warp fast at low orbits around Minmus and the Mun. * Tweaked the rotating reference frame thresholds when nearing planets, to reduce terrain mesh jitter. * Fixed the 'Serpinski Terrain' issue, where the terrain mesh would break up when approaching a planet after travelling very far. * Fixed an issue with the patched conic solver failing on some escape trajectories. * Fixed the normal maps on several parts. * It is now possible to set the persistent debris budget to zero, to disable saving debris completely.
I made an emissive tutorial . http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=13450.msg205780#msg205780

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if my credit is still in the game? I actually don't own it because I've been saving my money for more important things (Like food, Ha) Anyways, If anyone could look that the part the that allows the rocket to split into three sections, I think my name should be there somewhere.
How do you guys start on the runway and not on the launch pad?
How do you guys start on the runway and not on the launch pad?
Use the new building, unless you're using the free version, then buy the full game.
Yeah I only have the free version, I didn't know there were actually extra features in the paid version.

I just watched a pretty bright ISS pass, with the Falcon 9 second stage trailing about 60 seconds behind it. Fucking glorious.
So the 0.16 update thread is up, and the list of things being worked on does not contain docking. It does however contain EVA's both on the ground and in space, internal cabin and cockpit view and new particle effects for explosions and parts!
holy shit
I see through their lies and slander. Without docking, we cannot be whole. Make us whole again, KSP.
Hi, Well, here we go into the 0.16 update. As with last time, we'll post here not only the features, but also their status and confidence level for having them included in the update. However, we're not going to post any dates anymore, because quite simply, we can't promise that we'll meet them. Our deadlines are going to be internal from now on, so when the whoosh by, only we will know. So, as I said a few days ago, we've decided to take a somewhat different direction on this update. We had been working too long in the same set of features, while there were other things to do that weren't even started. KSP isn't just a space flight simulator, and we want to get started on the other areas of the game now, not only because those will make for much more interesting releases, but also because we've been working on flight-related features for the last 6 months, and this is a very welcome change of pace here. So, without further ado, this is the feature lineup for 0.16. Keep in mind that it's very likely several of these might not make it in the final update. We'll update our confidence rating for it as we go along: Planned Core Features: * Kerbal crewmembers in Extra-Vehicular Activities, both at the surface and in orbit. Assigned to: HarvesteR, Daniel Status: Prototyping and initial testing phase Confidence Level: Unknown, much too early to tell. * Internal Cabin and Cockpit views for crew-accessible parts. (aka, I.V.As) Assigned to: C7, Mu Status: Assets Development Confidence Level: Unknown * New Particle Effects for Explosions and Parts Assigned to: NovaSilisko Status: Underway Confidence Level: Unknown Bonus Features (if we have the time): * A much improved parts catalogue UI on the construction scenes. Assigned to: Mu, HarvesteR Status: Early designs Confidence Level: Unknown Unplanned Surprise Features: * If you see something here, someone's done broke cause and effect, and we should all freak out. Bug Fixes and Tweaks: * Set all parts on the same vessel to ignore collisions with each other. Hopefully this will solve all part-to-part collision problems. * Reduced the minimum collider intersection threshold to much less than before. Should increase collision accuracy and hopefully solve issues like landing gear going through the ground. (all thanks to above fix) Frequently Asked Questions: Q: What does IVA stand for? A: Intra-Vehicular Activities, as opposed to Extra Vehicular Activities. Basically, you assume a 1st person perspective on the selected crew member, and you get to see the ship from the inside (where available). Q: Last time you said there wouldn't be any surprises, and you added a new moon. What can I expect for this time? A: Minmus was a surprise even for me. In all seriousness, no one should expect anything that isn't written in bold and green on this list. (More to come, as they're asked)
No docking? Didn't they say they had it 90% in?
No docking? Didn't they say they had it 90% in?
Yup and yup.
Yup and yup.
Well that's really disappointing. I was really looking forward to it.
Dumb... they broke nodes for stations now they don't add docking :/ i don't want to do dumb EVAs. actually if i could add onto station via EVA i would be semi happy. anyway. such a big capsule when you see someone sitting atop it.
Yep me too. But I'm still looking forward to the new stuff [editline]2nd June 2012[/editline] Also yeah, the Dragon is actually really large.
Still not gonna buy until docking released, if it is ever released. I think they are lying to us about the whole 90% done thing and are giving us this shit to forget about it.
Is anyone else getting an updater error where it can't apply the update? I'm going from 0.15 to 0.15.2. Could that jump be what's causing the issue?
what did that add in 0.15.2? bug fix wise?
what did that add in 0.15.2? bug fix wise?
Fixed an issue they created with 0.15.1 [editline]2nd June 2012[/editline] Something about parts colliding with each other and tearing ships apart.
* New Particle Effects for Explosions and Parts Assigned to: NovaSilisko nova must have made the new SRB effect otherwise why would they assign him to this?
Pretty sure he did make the new SRB effect actually.
It's really roomy on the inside: Compare that to what they use currently: The facial expressions speak for themselves. [editline]1st June 2012[/editline] Those dragon seats look really comfy. It's almost like they vacu-formed it to the backs of the astronauts. This seat was made for me. [editline]1st June 2012[/editline] Also, I hate it when things suddenly decide to fall apart on the runway/launch pad after they've had dozens of successful flights and nothing seems to fix it. yeah I have seen Soyuz. It makes me LOL. I mean gosh they even have their parachute jammed in there with them lol. The funny thing is even the new Capsule has the parachute stuffed into the side of the pressure vessel ahaha. hey guys for the VA overhaul as well as up coming SSPP overhaul. do you think silver would bea good color instead of the gray if I made it shine and look like metal?
Still not gonna buy until docking released, if it is ever released. I think they are lying to us about the whole 90% done thing and are giving us this shit to forget about it.
Calm the fuck down.
Q: What about docking? A: Docking is still being implemented. As we worked on it, it became more and more apparent that docking is really just the tip of a very large set of features and code changes, which include much more than just attaching ships to one another. Docking requires a pretty sizeable overhaul of several core systems in the game. Those changes however, will make it possible for us to have not only docking, but several related features will become possible to implement, like space station construction, surface bases, multiple vessel launches and so on. We want to make this work as well as possible, so we are taking our time to make sure we have a very solid base to build on. It's possible some parts of these changes will be present on 0.16, but there's no guarantee we'll be able to complete it.
Also I just realized something. The ability to rotate parts is actually part of docking. I remember HarvesteR saying something about launching two ships docked together. You need to rotate one upside down to dock them in the VAB right?
Jesus fuck those effects look sexy.
I love the little white chunks of ice that fall off behind it.
