Vandenburg, CA launch was some polar military launch they for spying or something? It never launched. spent 3 billion $ on the pad.
the duel launch was more. take one out oh wait it is damaged and delayed so long the next mission is rolling past it it is like a shuttle race :D

no. that is just enterprise. it was mostly made of plastic panels and had only a few titles which were also plastic stand ins. at the time the titles fell appart easily so they didn;t apply them to the fly tester.

The enterprise had tiles on it and during it's test flight IN the atmosphere a lot were ripped off, and because of that, changes were made in securing them to the craft the other shuttles benefited from. That is still exactly what an orbiter looks like when it's all clean and uncharred
That's why someone invented PL400 (the glue), it was used to hold the tiles onto the shuttle.

nope. I have seen it in person. it is slightly different. it does have tiles. but it has hardly any. most of it is plastic panels. the front nose had some. as did the rear the under belly is about half tiles as well. but compared to the real discovery i have also seen it is lacking severely. and I have seen them up close at the Smithsonian :D

To get to the mun just get into a 100 km orbit around kerbin and when the mun comes over the horizon burn until your orbit goes slightly outside it's orbit.

Make sure you're transferring from a circular orbit, the calculations rely on such otherwise it fucks up royally.

in KOSMOS news I got the new RCS thursters working sort of but for whatever reason the effects don't really show much :/ how sad. The new rcs port holes are so lovely.
