Here's a glimpse of the Kerbals animation. Enjoy!

Just remember this is a render, and a gif, and it's by no means a reproduction of the look-and-feel of the game.
Is he brushing something off his hands?

i think he is just tarding out.
Ahh, that glorious moment of horrible lag just before you launch the rocket; when you're unsure if the entire thing is going to spontaneously violently disassemble itself.

Also, I am still not used to how clunky and imprecise MechJeb is coming from Orbiter.
"Oh, you wanna go prograde? Lemme swing your rocket around for five minutes!"

I think they need to improve the face animation a bit. Everything else looks really nice, but the face feels unemotive, although it probably has to do with their giant muppet-mouths.
I just got the game. Do you guys recommend any mods aside from the ones that are in the OP?

That list is actually out of date (it doesn't even link to the right forum anymore...).
The Damned parts are pretty fun, and make sure to get MechJeb.
Shame. I'll look for those.
that's great.
They look like shit though.
I think that they seem so unemotive because they lack eyebrows, which are pretty much one of the most emotive parts of the face. They also don't have eyelids, which doesn't help either.
Post about it in the forums.

Now I have model some. :v:
Anyone have a good craft that can kill stuff that's orbiting, pref with a laser, ironically, my satellite that shoots down debri in orbit with its lasers, is now debri because I accidentally overheated the lasers :v:

I had one, but it wasn't maneuverable enough to shoot down more than one thing without running out of fuel (I guess some more mods would've helped).
You could... Make another?

What parts are those?
Oicani Gonzales you silly bugger, I'm not done with those parts yet. And my stuff is hardly new.

Finally!
Probably should have put the landing legs a bit lower though.

Hell, any ship that can carry a 1x4 or so into orbit is fine even, can do the rest with my perpetual engine.

just an FYI The newer LK landing legs would have given you better clearance and they fold up much better :/

I'll download them and add them in now.
The ship unfortunately did not get home - separated the oxygen tanks slightly too early.
expedition struts are like an evil ghost that will not go away haha. They were a complete rush job. I suppose it stems form Lk legs not being very lander leg looking in the VAb view :/
I have a feeling that it's not possible to land something on the Mun if it is above a certain weight, at least under manual control. My super-heavy station lander has failed its landing twice, and the rocket that carries it occasionally explodes due to an unexplainable glitch (sometimes when the twelve fuel tanks run out on stage one, three new ones will suddenly appear on the staging list, and will burn until 2/3 capacity on the center three engines before the whole rocket explodes. The after-flight report shows that all of the parts spontaneously disconnect shortly before exploding.)
I'll try using MechJeb next time, but the landing physics are what's bothering me. I landed almost perfectly this time, and the weight of the lander caused the power packs on the sides of the lander to bow out, which resulted in the station bouncing. This is weird because it doesn't happen on Kerbin. On the Mun, this last attempt, it was so dramatic that the station actually rolled over.

Rocket Jacks.

There aren't much animation on the eyes at all, the only time he moved his eyes was when he was looking at his hands, the rest of the time, they just kept the same emotionless stare.

That face....its like its telling me to go out to do some exercising :suicide:

Where are people finding those legs at the bottom of your craft? they look so good.

my mun bases blow up to.
So I figured I'd try not only a rendezvous, but a double rendezvous:

What would be the rendezvous options to get two crafts in the same orbit height and angle to meet eachother?
Durgun ^^ not seen that in some time :D
